Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur – Gladiator Rework, Warden Ascendancy and Melee Overhaul Detailed

As a long-time fan of Path of Exile, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming expansion, Settlers of Kalguur! The new city-building mechanics and the Currency Trade Market have been highly anticipated by the community, but Grinding Gear Games didn’t stop there.

In “Path of Exile”: The game’s veteran players are drawn to the latest update titled “Settlers of Kalguur” due to its innovative city-construction features and long-awaited Currency Trade Market. Yet, there’s more! The Gladiator Ascendancy undergoes a significant overhaul, retaining its Bleed gameplay while incorporating fresh abilities that enhance blocking.

In the meantime, the Raider Ascendancy has taken over, while Warden has replaced it. This shift brings perks from Affliction’s Tinctures, now a standard item. Barkskin lessens incoming physical harm, and you can specialize in distinct elemental impacts. Melee fighting is undergoing significant enhancements, with boosted weapon critical hit chances, new top-tier bases, and modifications to block, Rage, abilities, and more.

As a seasoned player with hundreds of hours logged in this game, I’m thrilled to share some exciting updates that are coming our way! Not only can we look forward to the introduction of new Chisel types, but the drop rate for Valdor’s Puzzle Boxes is also getting a boost. For those of us who have spent countless hours trying to get our hands on these elusive boxes, this is fantastic news.

The new upscaling technology and advanced anti-aliasing will enhance the visual experience on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, resulting in improved dynamic resolution and sharper textures. Additionally, these consoles offer the best available water effects.

On July 26th, starting from 1 PM PDT, the new version of “Path of Exile,” titled “Settlers of Kalguur,” will be accessible on both consoles and personal computers.
