I’ve had the pleasure of observing the lives and journeys of several Real Housewives, each with their unique stories and experiences. Some, like Sara from The Real Housewives of Dubai, have broken steretypes and brought enlightenment to the screen, albeit with a lighter dose of drama. Others, such as Larsa from The Real Housewives of Miami, have had brief stints on the show and left little impact besides their former connection to Kim Kardashian and some controversial content on OnlyFans.
Kim Zolciak once again has her eye on the prize peach.
About 12 years have passed since Kim, a reality TV celebrity, unexpectedly quit “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” during its fifth season. Now, she has shared the reasons why she might consider rejoining the Bravo show once more.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share that I have great affection for Porsha Williams. I’ve always admired her vibrant personality and can’t wait to see her back in action. The Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets star exclusively shared with TopMob News that she’s returning, and I’m ecstatic about it! Her sense of humor never fails to bring joy and I’m genuinely happy for her comeback.
Additionally, news that a former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star could return for season 16 has increased Kim’s desire to reconnect with the group.
She mentioned that there were rumors Phaedra (Parks) could come back, and I’d be just as excited for that possibility since she’s truly impressive.
In fact, the recently refreshed cast has made Kim change her mind.
In a surprising turn of events, the 46-year-old shared, “I swore I’d never come back, but these two amusing ladies, Porsha and Phaedra, have made me reconsider my decision. They’ve got a great sense of humor that might just win me over. Let’s wait and see.”
However, Kim isn’t totally ready for all the drama that comes with being on Housewives.
The singer of “Tardy for the Party” reflected, “I’d give it some serious thought.” She shared, “I’ve never handled negativity and drama well. I’m generally an optimistic person, always ready to laugh and lend a hand. However, ‘Housewives’ can be incredibly challenging and disheartening at times. My past experiences on the show have left me with PTSD, which I’m still working through.”
Another event that didn’t take Kim by shock was Kenya Moore‘s departure from the show following last season’s controversy.
“Another housewife informed me about Kenya’s actions, and I’ve often expressed my view that she has significant flaws,” she revealed. “In my opinion, she’s reached the right place given her character.”
Watch as Kim resumes her presence in reality TV with the premiere of “Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets” on Bravo, Tuesday, July 23, at 9 p.m. Additionally, find out where Kim ranks among all Housewives in TopMob’s definitive list.
Four largely unremarkable women, namely Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney, and Stacie Scott Turner, gathered together as a result of Bravo’s failed endeavor to showcase our country’s capital. It’s understandable if you struggle to recall their names. However, one among them was so eager for recognition that she gatecrashed a White House event. We’ll delve deeper into her story soon.
Who?
Vaguely familiar, but…
Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.
This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.
Utah’s most recent addition to the Housewives’ second season created a stir (and not in a positive way) in January 2022. Previously known as Jennie, she was let go following the reemergence of heralded Facebook posts from the past, which some deemed offensive and racially insensitive. After their resurfacing online, Jennie issued an apology; however, the harm had already been inflicted.
Her defining trait was “cougar.”
During season 16, the doctor from Orange County wasn’t the source of any major drama. Her marital issues with her husband, who is often seen without a shirt (either Ryne or Ryan), didn’t provide much excitement. But who could forget Dr. Jen’s highly memorable moment at the Dubrows’ dinner party? She got quite tipsy on wine!
The initial experience of a nurse anesthetist could be described as the regrettable and embarrassing “Esophagus- scandal,” an incident we hope will not recur in future practices.
Katie was fond of discussing her charitable endeavors, yet her on-screen presence was limited. She made a brief appearance and failed to make significant contributions as a friend. Early departures from cast trips are disapproved of in the world of “Housewives.”
Two seasons as a full-time Housewife for Charrisse brought her marital issues into the limelight, making them a notable part of her storyline. Her champagne room is another significant memory associated with her.
A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?
In season 12 of the previously all-white “Real Housewives of the O.C.,” Peggy presented as a disappointing figure. Her chosen conflicts were peculiar, frequently involving misunderstandings over words she didn’t grasp, and her unexpected seclusion in her room for an entire day during the Iceland excursion demonstrated her unsuitability for this reality TV experience.
As a lifestyle expert, I would rephrase that in a more relatable and conversational way: During my first season on Nigerian reality TV show, instead of forming a beautiful connection with my costar Wendy Osefo like many expected, our storyline became focused on an allegation I made against her mother being a witch. I deeply regret that this became the focal point of our relationship on screen, as I had hoped we could celebrate our shared Nigerian heritage and bond over our cultural similarities instead.
In an exhilarating whirlwind, Noella navigated Season 16 with unrelenting frenzy. Despite her private hardships, such as James abandoning her before filming began and seeking a divorce, she managed to avoid the bottom rungs by engaging in tumultuous encounters with Heather Dubrow. With additional experience and another chance, Noella’s potential may flourish and endear us to “Mrs. Bergener.”
In her first season, she was known for maintaining peace among the group. However, in her final season, she went from this calm demeanor to constant complaints about a discarded cake and baseless accusations of anti-Semitism – a remarkable change in behavior for “Real Housewives” history.
A contestant from “America’s Next Top Model,” who appeared in seasons 11 and 12, didn’t leave a significant mark on the realm of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Her most notable contribution was her pregnancy during her time there. Kudos for her brilliant put-down of Marlo Hampton in Tokyo, though.
Based on what I’ve seen and heard, it seems that Karen was a dentist among the cast, but her interactions with her colleagues left me with a peculiar feeling. From the way her co-stars portrayed her, it appeared as if they held some strong dislikes towards her. I can only imagine the complexities of her personal life that might have led to such tense relationships within the group. Despite the lack of information about her background or reasons for their animosity, it’s clear that Karen’s presence on the show was not without controversy.
This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.
In more recent seasons of “Real Housewives of New York,” Jules didn’t stay long enough to earn a top spot. But she certainly added plenty of excitement with her dramatic moments.
So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.
Amber and her husband Jim’s actions gave off an air of desperation. Moreover, Jim appeared more entangled in the chaos than Amber. Not a desirable situation.
In a similar vein as Sara Al Madani, Nina represented a prosperous and complex Arab woman who skillfully merged contemporary life with age-old cultural customs. She managed to steer clear of the majority of the first season’s turmoil and at times found herself playing second fiddle to her more flamboyant cast mates.
Sara’s sunny perspective on life was agreeable, yet lacked the excitement (apart from when she gave Caroline Brooks some questionable parenting suggestions). Nevertheless, the tech entrepreneur broke down prejudices about what it signifies to be a contemporary Muslim woman in the Middle East, and for that reason, we commend her.
As an obsessed fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about the new additions to “RHONJ” in season 13. They truly embodied the essence of a Jersey Housewife and got entangled in a meaningless feud throughout the entire season, which even Andy Cohen declared as unnecessary during the reunion. I can’t get enough of their drama and would be thrilled if they make a comeback for season 14. With another entertaining round under their belts, they might just move up the ranks in this dynamic cast.
In the first season of “RHOM,” Larsa didn’t leave a significant mark before departing from the show. However, when Bravo brought back the series as “The Real Housewives of Miami” in 2021 for its fourth season, Larsa’s narrative revolved around her past friendship with Kim Kardashian and her side hustle selling revealing foot photos on OnlyFans.
After appearing on Bravo for one television season as a reality star, Ana tried her luck on the twelfth season of “Next Food Network Star” in the year 2016. However, she was unsuccessful in making it through that competition as well.
I’m truly sorry to say that Brandi Glanville often treated her unfairly. And her tagline promoting an unhealthy fixation on being excessively thin left a bad taste in my mouth.
Cindy was supposed to be the new Bethenny Frankel. Cindy was no Bethenny Frankel.
In the first season of RHODubai, Brooks made an appearance through a brief role played by Phaedra Parks, a former star of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Her purpose was to dish out gossip about her fellow cast members. Nevertheless, Brooks herself stirred up quite a bit of avoidable turmoil during that season, particularly during instances when she had consumed too much alcohol.
