As a seasoned gamer and longtime Star Wars fan, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of Star Wars Outlaws. The prospect of exploring an entirely new moon in the Star Wars universe, Toshara, created specifically for this game, is truly intriguing.
In an upcoming release titled “Star Wars Outlaws,” Massive Entertainment is set to introduce the first authentic open-world Star Wars experience. While exploring various planets and moons, such as Tatooine’s deserts and Canto Bight’s dense civilization, fans will recognize familiar territory. However, a new location, Toshara, will debut exclusively in the game. Developed specifically for “Star Wars Outlaws,” this moon is an original creation by Massive Entertainment.
In a recent IGN video, the game’s creators shared behind-the-scenes information about designing the location for the game, as well as enhancing our understanding of its history, geographical features, and other intricacies.
On Toshara, a savanna-like moon with a wind-swept appearance inspired by Earth’s African continent, players will discover numerous distinct features that invite exploration. One such feature is the prevalence of Amberine, a vibrant, orange mineral, whose presence not only adds to the moon’s folklore but also offers opportunities for players to use it. Scattered across Toshara are ramps naturally formed from Amberine. Players can make use of these ramps while driving their speeders for thrilling stunts and jumps.
As a gamer, I’m excited about venturing beyond Amberine where I’ll encounter numerous shipwrecks, hidden Empire bases, and let’s not forget the shady criminal factions and unsavory elements that come with unexplored territories. The lunar landscape will offer vast, wind-swept plains, but the real challenge lies in exploring Mirogana – a densely populated city nestled within an enormous mountain. Carved directly into the rock to shield it from the moon’s relentless winds, Mirogana promises adventure around every corner.
