As a huge fan of both drama series and garden societies, I can hardly contain my excitement over NBC’s recent announcements! The news that “Grosse Pointe Garden Society” has been given a series order is music to my ears. The concept of a garden club in a suburban neighborhood filled with intrigue and murder just adds an exciting twist to the genre, and I can’t wait to see how the lives of the four main characters unfold as they try to make their conventional lives bloom.
I’m thrilled to share that I can now call myself a part of the “Grosse Pointe Garden Society” family as this engaging drama has been given the green light by NBC for a full series! According to recent reports from Variety, the production process is underway, though an official debut date has yet to be announced. Joining “Grosse Pointe Garden Society” in NBC’s upcoming lineup is the much-anticipated “Suits. L.A.” spinoff. After completing the pilot and undergoing rigorous testing last month, it’s an exciting time for all of us involved.
The “Grosse Pointe Garden Society” is a creation of Jenna Bans, Bill Krebs, Casey Kyber, and Maggie Kiley. This television show focuses on the lives of four members from diverse backgrounds of a suburban gardening club, as they navigate murder, chaos, and the blooming of their conventional existences. The series will feature Melissa Fumero (known for “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”), AnnaSophia Robb, Ben Rappaport, Matthew Davis (previously seen in “Legacies” and “The Vampire Diaries”), Alexander Hodge, Aja Naomi King, Nancy Travis, and Felix Avitia as the stars.
Suits: L.A. Has Also Been Given A Series Order
Above it was noted that NBC gave a series order to “Suits: L.A.” on Friday. This new show is a spin-off of the popular original “Suits” series, which has experienced a surge in popularity due to its availability on streaming platforms. In this upcoming series, the focus shifts to an entertainment law firm in Hollywood. The cast includes Stephen Amell from “Arrow,” Josh McDermitt from “The Walking Dead,” Troy Winbus, Bryan Greenberg, Lex Scott Davis, and Alice Lee.
As a huge fan of “Suits: L.A.”, I’d describe it this way in the first person: In this gripping series, I find myself playing the role of Ted Black, a former New York federal prosecutor with a new identity as a lawyer in the bustling city of Los Angeles. My firm, Black Lane Law, is on the brink of collapse, forcing me to take on a job I’ve always scorned – dealing with criminal and entertainment law clients. With my team by my side, we navigate through testing loyalties and personal-professional entanglements. Old memories from fifteen years ago begin to resurface, revealing the reasons I abandoned everything and everyone I cherished. Once upon a time, I joined forces with my friend Stuart Lane to establish Black Lane Law in L.A. This thrilling journey unravels the past and present of Ted Black’s life.
Neither Grosse Pointe Garden Society nor Suits: L.A. has an official debut date at this time.
