Deadpool & Wolverine: Ryan Reynolds on Hypothetically Working With Blake Lively

As a die-hard Marvel fan, I am beyond excited for the upcoming film “Deadpool & Wolverine,” and the recent interviews with Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Shawn Levy have only fueled my anticipation even more. The potential cameos in this movie are truly intriguing, and while some have been revealed, others remain a mystery, such as Lady Deadpool’s identity.

Moviegoers are just a few days from witnessing the long-awaited team-up of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in “Deadpool & Wolverine.” Marvel Studios has already unveiled some unexpected appearances, although the identities of others, such as Lady Deadpool, remain shrouded in secrecy. While some potential actors have been guessed, the true identity of Lady Deadpool is still a mystery, even though she was glimpsed in the final trailer. Theories abound, from Taylor Swift to Reynolds donning a wig. One widely-held assumption is that Blake Lively will portray Lady Deadpool. During an interview with ComicBook, Reynolds, Jackman, and director Shawn Levy shared no spoilers but Reynolds provided a humorous take on the prospect of working with his wife in a Marvel production.

Reynolds stated with great sincerity, “She doesn’t come close to being as good of a friend as Hugh is.” This comment left Jackman and Levy chuckling. “Relax guys, we haven’t begun filming yet,” he added jokingly. “I’ll put on a show for you soon enough.”

Jackman reminded the audience that his friendship with Reynolds started before Reynolds began dating Lively.

Reynolds shared his fondness for collaborating with others, reminiscing about the camaraderie of old Hollywood. He mentioned Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn as beloved past partners. Working with Blake is a desire he cherishes.

Kevin Feige Addresses Deadpool’s MCU Future:

Deadpool & Wolverine: Ryan Reynolds on Hypothetically Working With Blake Lively

As an avid fan, I’m thrilled about the upcoming Avengers 5, formerly known as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. With only a few characters confirmed for this highly anticipated project and an expected lineup of 60 Marvel Cinemic Universe (MCU) stars, I can’t help but wonder if the notoriously R-rated Deadpool might make an appearance. Recently, ComicBook reached out to Marvel Studios president Feige about how such a character could potentially fit into a PG-13 story. While we wait for his response, my imagination is running wild with possibilities!

Feige acknowledged the question when asked about fitting Deadpool into a PG-13 Marvel setting, replying, “Yes, I’ve considered it. The charm of Deadpool comics lies in unexpected appearances and team-ups between unlikely characters.”

In past interviews, such as this one, I recall being asked about promoting “Iron Man 2” while we were producing “Thor” and had announced our plans for an Avengers film. People were curious how a Norse god like Thor could share the screen with Tony Stark. My response was simple: “That’s the beauty of it.” The intrigue lies in bringing together characters who seem unlikely to mix.

As a movie buff with a soft spot for superhero stories, I’m thrilled to announce that the much-anticipated collaboration between Deadpool and Wolverine will hit theaters exclusively starting July 26th. Keep an eye on our channel for exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes sneak peeks! Having grown up with these iconic characters gracing the pages of comic books, I can hardly contain my excitement to see them come to life on the big screen together. Their unique blend of action, humor, and raw emotion is sure to leave audiences breathless. Can’t wait!
