Although no specific release date was given at the time, the game entered beta testing on both PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Now, it appears that a full launch of Valorant is imminently upcoming without an officially announced surprise.
As a dedicated gamer following the latest news, I’ve heard from a reliable source, @eXtas1stv on Twitter, that the Valorant console beta is supposedly wrapping up this week on July 26th. Although Riot Games hasn’t explicitly mentioned a release date before, we knew it was coming to consoles sometime this year.
As a huge fan of Valorant, I can tell you that right now, you can only play this amazing game on PC. Now, here’s some news that might affect console players: Riot Games has announced that gyro aiming (a feature available on PS5) won’t be included in Valorant for the time being. The reason behind this decision? Well, Xbox controllers don’t support gyro aiming, and Riot wants to ensure fairness and consistency across all platforms. So, console users will have to stick with traditional controller aiming for now.
At the same time, the previously mentioned source asserts that “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” will join Game Pass by the end of this week. For further details, check out this link.
You might have imagined it, but now I can CONFIRM for sure that Modern Warfare 3 arrives on Game Pass for PC and Console on July 24 (not Cloud). On the other hand, EXCLUSIVELY on July 26, the betas end and VALORANT’s GLOBAL RELEASE for consoles ensues.
