As a longtime fan of both Cartoon Network and fighting games, I couldn’t be more excited about the latest additions to MultiVersus! The announcement of Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice joining the roster feels like a dream come true. I grew up watching Samurai Jack’s epic battles and adventures, and now getting to play as him in MultiVersus is an incredible experience. And let’s not forget about Beetlejuice, the mischievous ghost with a tongue that can’t be tamed! His addition to the game will surely bring some unique and entertaining matches.
As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to share that just this month, the developers at Player First Games and publishers WB Games added Agent Smith from “The Matrix” as the first DLC character to MultiVersus, our favorite free-to-play platform fighter. Now, they’ve announced the next batch of characters set to join the game! I can hardly wait to see who they are!
Initially, we have Samurai Jack, the main character of the Cartoon Network animated show known for his katana and samurai skills, joining MultiVersus during Season 2 on July 23. At a later point in the season, the ghost Beetlejuice is expected to be added. However, an exact release date has not been announced yet, but it’s speculated that it will correspond with the September launch of the new film “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.”
Alongside introducing two new DLC characters, WB Games has declared that as of July 23, which is the launch date for Season 2, MultiVersus will incorporate a Ranked Mode. This new feature will offer both one-on-one and two-on-two battles, as well as distinctive rewards for those who excel in these competitive matches.
MultiVersus is available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
