As a seasoned fan of Emily in Paris, I can’t help but be drawn back into the captivating world of our fashion-forward heroine with each new image released. With every frame, I find myself transported to the picturesque streets of Paris and immersed in Emily’s latest adventures.
Emily’s time in Paris is getting steamier and more complicated.
As a dedicated fan of romantic comedies and someone who has followed Emily in Paris since its inception, I’m thrilled to share my excitement about the release of season four’s trailer. The preview leaves me intrigued and slightly frustrated, as it seems that the long-standing question of whom Emily, brilliantly portrayed by Lily Collins, will ultimately end up with remains unanswered.
As a dedicated fan following the story of Emily, I can’t help but feel excited for her as we approach season three. Her breakup with Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) has left her heartbroken, but the future seems bright. With Alfie seemingly unavailable and Gabriel’s ex Cami (Camille Razat) expecting a baby, Emily finds herself in an enviable position. The world is truly her oyster, full of possibilities and new opportunities.
“Wow, Mindy,” Emily exclaims to her friend Ashley Park, who appears to be in the shower in the trailer’s opening scene. “Can you believe what I encountered on my run? There were men, all over the place! I must have been so engrossed in thinking about Gabriel and Alfie that I forgot what it’s like to be single again.”
As she continues, “And now that I’m no longer with either of them,” the shower curtain parts to unveil Gabriel, who had been hiding and inquires optimistically, “You mean you’re not with Alfie?”
Although Mindy acknowledges that the way to be with Gabriel appears evident for the first time, Emily counters by bringing up the fact that he is “the man involved with a woman who’s in love with someone else and I’m the one keeping this secret.”
Because everything is not so simple as it seems.
In the upcoming fourth season of “Emily in Paris,” as depicted in the trailer, Emily’s split with Alfie becomes a public spectacle, leading to complications at work, a deepening strain on her professional and personal connection with Julian (Samuel Arnold), and heated encounters between Emily, Gabriel, and Cami.
At a particularly intense point, the chef expresses his frustration over the secrecy by saying, “I’m so tired of the secrets,” to which Emily fiercely retorts, “Me too.”
Instead, Emily chooses to be open to new possibilities, sharing with Mindy, “Perhaps I’m ready for some fresh experiences.”
“Sylvie, played by Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, has warned that accepting the unknown isn’t simple, admitting, ‘I never thought you’d choose that uncertain path.'”
As an obsessed fan, I can’t help but empathize with Emily’s inner turmoil. She assures Sylvie that she’s making an effort, but deep down, the American expat finds it challenging to let go of her past. “I truly believed I could leave those memories behind,” Emily confesses. “But they hold such significant meaning for me in distinct ways.”
Perhaps in the fourth season, Emily’s long-standing love triangle may come to an end. The trailer suggests this as it shows a masquerade ball scene where Emily encounters both Lucien and Gabriel, looking uncertain at first but eventually choosing one of them or perhaps discovering a new romantic interest, all while wearing a smile that indicates her decision has been made.
The identity of the person Emily eventually chooses, along with the series of incidents that influenced her feelings, will continue to be a secret until the premieres of “Emily in Paris” season four on August 15 and September 12.
Until then, keep reading for first-look images of the upcoming season.
Eugenio Franceschini portrays Marcello, a Roman native with a straightforward and self-assured demeanor. Valuing simplicity, he is substantial yet understated in his actions, remaining true to the traditional values of his family business.
Thalia Besson portrays the role of Genevieve, a 20-something daughter of Laurent from past relationships. She has recently relocated from New York City to Paris with the intention of launching her career. Genevieve’s cheerful and enthusiastic disposition quickly captivates Emily, who is delighted to welcome an American expat as a mentee. However, their shared traits might create complications for Emily, affecting both her professional and personal life.

Judging by this photo, Emily will find herself in another juocy predicament.
Gabriel’s career looks hotter than ever.
Julian has a promising new marketing campaign.
From my perspective as a lifestyle expert, it’s clear that there’s still some unresolved tension between Emily and Camille regarding their shared feelings for Gabriel.
After all, this furred out look is nothing short of show-stopping.
Antoine Lambert knows how to serve a look, and this blue suit is no exception.
Leave it to Emily to prove winter fashion can be as head-turning as it is practical.
Is it implied that they are raising a glass with each other as well as with their friends? The boundary between them appears blurred as Emily and Gabriel share a moment of closeness during the gathering.
The costumes in this production have a historical feel, but understanding their full significance may depend on information revealed in season four. Alternatively, Emily’s behavior in this scene might simply be typical of her character.
From the looks of this, it doesn’t look like things have thawed between Camille and Emily.
Meanwhile, Emily and Alfie look rather comfortable for being recently broken up.
To determine the reason behind Sylvie’s mysterious gaze (is it lust, amusement, or indifference?), we’ll need to observe her more closely and give it some time.
Julien and Luc are back at it again at Agence Grateau.
When I observe Emily and Mindy together, they seem strikingly similar to each other—almost like two peas from an exceptionally vibrant pod. Such harmony in their appearances is no surprise, given Emily’s flair for fashion as showcased on her captivating series, “Emily in Paris.”
Talking about style, Emily stands out elegantly in her blue outfit, which contrasts beautifully with the stunning Villa behind her.
And of course, Emily has the perfect outfit.
