The first allegation surfaced on July 21st, and involved user @LavaGS on X. They denied any wrongdoing, but further claims quickly followed, suggesting predatory behavior towards minors. Amid the growing controversy, Tyson issued a statement in response.
In a short note on X, Tyson expressed regret over past actions that have become public knowledge, acknowledging they didn’t mean to hurt anyone. Regarding the accusations, Tyson chose not to address them specifically or defend against them. Instead, they announced their intention to focus on family and would be departing from MrBeast’s YouTube channel and social media amicably.
“I’m sorry if anything I’ve done or said in the past has caused pain or offense to anyone. I didn’t mean to hurt feelings, but after considering recent events, Tyson and I have agreed that it’s best for me to leave all MrBeast-related matters and social media permanently in order to prioritize my family and mental wellbeing.”
Currently, MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) hasn’t publicly addressed the situation involving Tyson. Meanwhile, other content creators have expressed strong criticisms towards Tyson on social media, urging MrBeast to make a statement.
