As a long-time gamer and Comic-Con enthusiast, I can’t contain my excitement for this year’s event! The return of San Diego Comic-Con signifies the reunion of like-minded individuals who share a passion for comics, movies, gaming, and more. And what makes it even more special is the presence of two exceptional guests – Ashley Eckstein and Michael James Scott.

Tomorrow marks the start of San Diego Comic-Con, a long-awaited event for comic book fans, moviegoers, gamers, and television enthusiasts alike. At this gathering, attendees will have the opportunity to celebrate their passions with like-minded individuals. Notable special guests include Ashley Eckstein and Michael James Scott. Eckstein is renowned for her voice work as Ahsoka Tano in various Star Wars animated projects, while Scott currently graces Broadway’s Aladdin as the Genie. These friends will join forces to host the 10th Annual Her Universe Fashion Show. Founded by Eckstein, this milestone event promises an exciting display of fashion. In anticipation of the show taking place at Comic-Con tomorrow, ComicBook had the privilege of interviewing Scott and Eckstein about its anniversary.

Scott expressed his enthusiasm for this year’s event, exclaiming, “It’s great to be back! Everyone’s returned, and the energy is at an all-time high. This fashion show is in full swing. We’re commemorating ten years of Her Universe fashion, a significant milestone, and it’s become iconic at Comic-Con. Prepare for the signature fierce fashion, ‘Geek Couture,’ and the brilliant designs from our exceptionally talented artists. And let’s not forget about Ashley Eckstein and me showcasing our own stunning creations.”

“Scott expressed his admiration for the designers’ abilities repeatedly. He also emphasized the significance of their decade-long achievements, using the term ‘epic.’ In total, he wanted to draw attention to the impressive milestone reached by this work and Her Universe in fashion over the past ten years.”

As a devoted gamer and avid fan of “Alice in Wonderland,” I can’t help but be captivated by Alice’s wise yet often ignored words: “I’m rather good at giving myself advice, but I very rarely follow it.” Reflecting on the upcoming 10th anniversary of the Her Universe Fashion Show, I shared this thought with those who asked. Just like Alice, we’re so engrossed in our endeavors that we forget to savor the fruits of our labor. Life moves swiftly and it’s all too easy to let significant moments slip away while we’re focused on the next challenge. With the 10th-anniversary show promising an epic experience, I urge us all not to miss out on the joy and excitement it will bring. Let’s take a moment to appreciate the journey and cherish the milestones we’ve reached.

She expressed her excitement, saying, “I’ve been longing to accomplish something in this show that I’ve dreamt of since 2017. This was my coveted look, and I finally managed to make it happen after much anticipation and hard work. The past few weeks have been hectic, but during a moment of exhaustion, I reflected on old photos from ten years ago, realizing the significance of our achievement. I’m incredibly proud of our entire team and the Her Universe Fashion Show community. We’ve come so far over the last decade, and it’s worth taking a moment to celebrate our accomplishments.”
