The new Cheesy Street Chalupa from Taco Bell is gaining significant popularity. Recently introduced, this dish is a more substantial version of traditional street tacos, with onions, cilantro, and enhanced meat choices. Its shell is modeled after the Quesalupa, adding to its street taco inspiration.
In a press release, Taco Bell’s innovation chief Luis Restrepo shared his thoughts on the evolution of the Chalupa: “Over the years, the Chalupa has been delightfully reinvented in various ways. However, our goal with Cheesy Street Chalupas was to introduce a fresh, zesty twist for fans. We added generous layers of cheese, premium proteins, and savory toppings of fresh onions and cilantro. This new version offers a unique taste experience, paying homage to the classic street taco.”
From August 1st to August 4th, Taco Bell is giving away a complimentary Cheesy Street Chalupa with every order worth $25 or more placed via their app as part of the product’s debut.
