AEW’s MJF Reveals American Championship, All In Title Match Official

AEW's MJF Reveals American Championship, All In Title Match Official

After witnessing MJF’s audacious display of disrespect towards the International Championship and Will Ospreay during this week’s AEW Dynamite, I couldn’t help but be captivated by the drama unfolding before my very eyes. As a long-time wrestling fan, I have seen many shocking moments, but MJF’s actions were something truly electrifying.

Last week’s AEW Dynamite featured an exhilarating bout between MJF and Will Ospreay, ending with MJF resorting to underhanded tactics to secure a win and the International Championship. Kickstarting this week’s Dynamite, MJF spoke to the crowd, but he concealed a hidden agenda. Instead of celebrating his title victory, MJF carelessly discarded the International Championship into a nearby trash can. To everyone’s surprise, MJF unveiled a freshly minted American Championship and continued taunting Ospreay. Unbeknownst to MJF, Ospreay had prepared a shocking announcement of his own: Tony Khan had sanctioned a rematch between the two rivals for the International Championship at All In in Wembley.

An American Championship

MJF began his promo by accusing Ospreay of cowardice, a remark made after it was discovered that someone had sliced his tires, preventing him from reaching the arena on time. Following this revelation, MJF targeted the International Championship, mocking its fans for allegedly admiring it due to the international wrestlers who held it. He then devalued the title and its current champion, referring to them as worthless, similar to Daniel Garcia, Willy Boy, and white trash hicks. To further emphasize his point, MJF carelessly discarded the International Champion into a nearby trash can.

After gesturing toward a concealed table, MJF implied he had a freshly acquired Title, more worthy of recognition. “I merit a title representing the top wrestler globally and the finest country – not that disreputable land called the UK,” MJF declared, prompting everyone to stand for the American Championship.

An Epic Rematch

Out of nowhere, Ospreay charged into the ring and came close to reaching MJF, but the Champion managed to escape and made a hasty retreat towards the ramp. With a fiery expression, Ospreay shouted at MJF for his underhanded tactics, unable to accept the possibility that he could lose. Ospreay was certain of MJF’s dishonest actions with the diamond ring, but he had a surprising revelation in store for the Champion that would undoubtedly spoil his evening.

At the center of the ring, Ospreay announced with excitement, “I bring fantastic news, everyone! After a productive discussion with Tony Khan and Christopher Daniels, I’m thrilled to reveal that Max, our rematch is confirmed! And where better for it to take place than right here?” He gestured towards the All In logo. “Max, mark your calendar – August 25th, Sunday, we meet again for a battle over the International Championship at All In.” MJF looked dumbfounded by this revelation and voiced his confusion angrily. However, the rematch is indeed official, and Ospreay would leave the ring triumphantly with his championship in hand.
