Concord Animated Trailer Showcases Teo, Jabali, and It-Z in Action

As a dedicated fan of Firewalk Studios and their upcoming title, Concord, I couldn’t help but be intrigued by the latest addition to the game’s lore: the “Freegunner Adventures” animated video featuring Jabali, Teo, and It-Z. Although in-game cinematics may not be a prominent feature in Concord, this delightful animated short more than makes up for it.

At Firewalk Studios, the game “Concord” lacks extensive in-game cinematics beyond its weekly vignettes. Nevertheless, the absence of in-game storytelling doesn’t limit the potential for exploring the game’s lore. A fresh animated video has been released, featuring Jabali, Teo, and It-Z on a mission in “Freegunner Adventures.” Take a look below to enjoy this new visual experience.

At the Robot Ruins, the three-person team is on a mission to find a memory module. Suddenly, an unexpected attack by their opponents occurs. Though it appears that all rival crew members have been neutralized by Teo, he gets wounded in the process while shielding It-Z. In the meantime, Cue employs deception, and Jabali uses his healing abilities to tend to Teo’s injury. The pursuit of the memory module persists.

Unfortunately, the thrilling exploits described here don’t occur in the actual game. Instead, it primarily offers competitive multiplayer experiences for up to 16 Freegunners, each with numerous Variants, as well as 12 maps and six distinct game modes. Firewalk also promises “hundreds” of customization options that players can acquire within the game, without a battle pass available initially.
