Gege Akutami, the creator of Jujutsu Kaisen, revealed that the series isn’t shy about eliminating important characters. This was demonstrated in the Shibuya Incident Arc of season 2 when several popular anime characters departed. However, cosplayers have revived these characters through their exceptional cosplays, featuring some of Jujutsu Tech’s students and teachers. Nobara was one of the three main students of Jujutsu Kaisen’s class and while she didn’t have the same power level as Yuji and Megumi, she still was a force to be reckoned with. When she was introduced in the first anime season, Nobara stood tall and was able to use her unique powers to fight against fellow students and cursed beings alike. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned when she entered Shibuya. Thanks to the machinations of Suguru Geto and Mahito, the world of Jujutsu Kaisen will never be the same.

Nobara Makes a Comeback

In the thrilling second season of Jujutsu Kaisen that I’ve been hooked on, I watched in horror as Nobara took a hit from Mahito’s vicious attacks. With just a touch, Mahito could obliterate flesh, leaving a gruesome trail. I couldn’t believe my eyes when half of Nobara’s face disintegrated right before Yuji and me. As of now, we don’t know whether Nobara made it through this brutal encounter in both the anime and manga versions.
