As a longtime fan of the Transformers franchise, I am beyond excited about the upcoming animated film, Transformers One! The new trailer revealed during San Diego Comic-Con 2024 has only fueled my anticipation further, especially with the confirmation that Steve Buscemi will be voicing Starscream.

At San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Transformers One unveiled a fresh trailer, packed with excitement! During their Hall H panel presentation, they shared the newest footage from the upcoming film and announced that Steve Buscemi will be lending his voice to Starscream in this production. I’m really excited about “Transformers One” and the positive feedback I’ve been hearing from those who have already seen it. Even though we don’t get to experience it fully until later this Fall, the latest trailer revealed during Comic-Con 2024 has me even more pumped up! When Does Transformers One Come Out?

Under the guidance of Josh Cooley (“Toy Story 4”), the screenplay was penned by Andrew Barrer (“Ant-Man and the Wasp”), Gabriel Ferrari (“No Exit”), and Steve Desmond (“Knock at the Cabin”). Released on September 20th by Paramount Animation, “Transformers One” brings to life the animation wizardry of Industrial Light & Magic. The voice cast includes Chris Hemsworth as Orion Pax / Optimus Prime, Brian Tyree Henry as D-16 / Megatron, Scarlett Johansson as Elita-1, Keegan-Michael Key as B-127 / Bumblebee, Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime, and Laurence Fishburne as Autobot Alpha Trion.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura has been named as the producer for Di Vonaventura Pictures, with Michael Bay also joining as a producer for the live-action “Transformers” film. In addition, Tom DeSanto, Don Murphy, Mark Vahradian, and Aaron Dem are also producers. Regarding the upcoming animated “Transformers: One,” the synopsis hints at an intriguing storyline as follows:

In “TRANSFORMERS ONE,” discover the untold friendship between Optimus Prime and Megatron, two foes whose bond as brotherhood shaped Cybertron’s history irreversibly. This first fully-CGI Transformers film offers a voice cast of renowned stars such as Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, and features the talents of Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm.
