The British actress has proven herself to be a versatile and captivating performer, from her gripping performances in the Mission: Impossible films to her chilling portrayal of Lady Jessica in Dune.

Netflix’s “Peaky Blinders” film production has secured the addition of actress Rebecca Ferguson, known for her roles in “Dune,” “Silo,” and “Mission: Impossible.” As reported by “Deadline,” specifics regarding Ferguson’s character are currently undisclosed. She marks the first significant casting announcement for this project. In June, Netflix officially announced the upcoming movie with Cillian Murphy confirmed to reprise his role as Tommy Shelby. The critically-acclaimed “Peaky Blinders” TV series concluded in 2022.

The plot details of the “Peaky Blinders” film featuring Cillian Murphy’s character Thomas Shelby are yet to emerge. Before unveiling the full cast, only Ferguson’s addition has been confirmed. Previously, Tom Hardy, famous for “The Bikeriders,” expressed his desire to reappear in the production as Alfie Solomons, despite the character having perished in Peaky Blinders’ Season 5.

Hardy admitted, “I can guarantee 100% that Alfie will show up at some point, but I’m unsure of the exact timing… and there’s a chance he might not, it’s just speculation on my part.”

Silo Season 2 is Coming

Ferguson is set to feature in the second installment of Apple TV+’s “Silo,” with the release date for this sci-fi series still undisclosed. According to producer Graham Yost, however, viewers can expect a truly terrifying experience as Season 2 unfolds. The suspense will primarily stem from the unfolding events surrounding Ferguson’s character, Juliette.

“Yost expressed concern as signs of unrest emerge since Juliette crossed a boundary, but he also warned of the potential consequences based on past experiences in the other silo where an uprising led to mass casualties. Therefore, the underlying theme for this season is the delicate balance between rebellion and safety.”

He went on to say, “One of us is with Juliette in another safety container, while the other is in her personal safety container. Juliette is aware of the potential danger threatening her safety container, and she wonders if there’s any possibility for her to return and assist us in preventing it?” The situation is becoming increasingly alarming.
