Who was behind the murders and disappearances in High Country?

High Country ending explained: Who was behind the murders and disappearances?

In reality, there were various correct answers to this query. It was uncovered that Claire Harris and David Miers played significant roles in the illegal baby trafficking organization, named Artemis. This group, which also comprised Patrick Haber and Max Phillips, was masterminded by Rose De Vigny at The Farm.

Young women were deceptively drawn to that place to give birth, only to have their babies taken away from them under false pretenses. The unscrupulous individuals in charge would then sell these infants to couples eager to adopt. However, this nefarious scheme began to unravel as the truth came to light.

Claire and David had staged their own demises as a means to evade pressure from blackmailers and impending legal action. Even by the finale of the series, they remained in hiding.

Liam Mason, previously manipulated by Rose De Vigny, was the one who took Rachel’s life. Rachel held incriminating information about Patrick Haber regarding Artemis, a sensitive matter. Years ago, Rachel had been wronged by him when he stole her baby. Upon discovering this truth, Patrick paid her to keep quiet.

When Rose discovered this secret, she made Liam go tell Rachel the news, and later on, Andie stumbled upon Rachel’s body concealed inside a barrel at the Masons’ farm.

I’ve always been intrigued by the heart-wrenching tale of Michael Novak and Jean Grierson. Unfortunately, their lives were cruelly cut short by Sam Dyson. Deb, my dear, was a victim of despair years prior, taking her own life due to the devastating revelation that their baby had been taken from her at birth. She confided in Sam about this betrayal before her untimely demise. Haunted by these events, Sam dedicated himself to uncovering the truth behind this tragic tale.

After discovering Michael’s true role in the plan, he finally confronted him, but tragically, Michael met his end by falling into a ravine and passing away. On the other hand, filled with rage, he took Jean’s life in a cold, calculated manner.

At last, I stood face-to-face with Rose on a towering cliffside, but her expression remained unchanged – devoid of any sign of regret for her actions. It was then that I overheard the shocking revelation from an unexpected corner.

What happened to Helen and Kirra in High Country?

In the beginning of the final act, Helen and Kirra resided with Rose. However, when Helen uncovered the horrifying truth that Rose ran a baby trafficking ring, Rose anticipated this discovery, and arranged for the Masons to whisk Helen and Kirra away in a vehicle.

In the end, Helen and Kirra found themselves as captives, with Andie and the law enforcement officers encircling their hideout. Subsequently, Helen and Kirra were rescued, Liam Mason met his demise, and Nash Mason was taken into custody.

Helen and Andie eventually made up, and said they would talk it all through properly later.

Who were Andie’s birth parents in High Country?

In the final scene, Andie kept looking for clues to discover her real parents’ identities. The absence of a birth record in that location implied that her birth certificate might have been altered.

During the entire episode, she discovered that she had unwittingly become involved in a baby-trafficking ring, and her adoptive parents had purchased her from Jean. Ultimately, a shocking truth came to light: She was in fact the offspring of Sam and Deb.

I once saw a film where a policeman, let’s call him Sam, brought a new recruit under his wing to develop a connection with her. However, there was something he kept hidden from her – a secret that gnawed at his conscience because of the questionable methods he used to obtain crucial information.

At the cliff’s peak, where Sam was speaking to Andie, Rose seized the gun that had been aimed at her moments before. She fired it into Sam’s stomach, then plunged off the cliff and met her end. An ambulance carried Sam away, leaving his condition uncertain.

Who killed Luke Samson in High Country?

I must admit, despite Damien being considered the main suspect for this crime, he has consistently maintained his innocence up until now. However, we have yet to uncover sufficient evidence to prove otherwise.

If High Country comes back for a second season, we might uncover the solutions to this puzzle at last.

High Country is available to stream in full now on BBC iPlayer.
