As a longtime Transformers fan and avid gamer, I can’t contain my excitement for the upcoming animated film, Transformers One. The new posters revealed during Comic-Con 2024 have only fueled my anticipation further. This isn’t just another entry in the series; it’s an entirely new exploration of Optimus Prime and Megatron’s origins.


At San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Transformers One unveiled some intriguing new posters for their upcoming fully computer-generated animated movie. Although the Transformers franchise originally began as an animated series and has graced the big screen in animation, it’s now venturing into uncharted territory with this first feature-length CG animation. Moreover, this film will offer a fresh perspective by delving into the backstories of Optimus Prime and Megatron prior to their infamous battle over Cybertron, as depicted in later installments.

At San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Transformers One unveiled several intriguing updates, and more have emerged in the form of chilling new posters. These posters introduce “Orion Pax” and “D-16,” revealing their future transformations into Optimus Prime and Megatron, respectively. Transformers One Release Date

In the upcoming animation film “Transformers One,” directed by Josh Cooley of Toy Story 4 fame, the screenplay is penned by Andrew Barrer (Ant-Man and the Wasp), Gabriel Ferrari (No Exit), and Steve Desmond (Knock at the Cabin). The production is handled by Paramount Animation, with animation brought to life by Industrial Light & Magic. The film hits theaters on September 20th. Leading the cast are Chris Hemsworth as Orion Pax / Optimus Prime, Brian Tyree Henry as D-16 / Megatron, Scarlett Johansson as Elita-1, Keegan-Michael Key as B-127 / Bumblebee, Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime, Laurence Fishburne as Autobot Alpha Trion, and Steve Buscemi as Starscream.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura has been named as the producer for Di Vonaventura Pictures, and Michael Bay, the director of the live-action “Transformers” films, is also producing alongside Tom DeSanto, Don Murphy, Mark Vahradian, and Aaron Dem.
