As a long-time fan of My Hero Academia, I can’t believe that the manga is coming to an end. I have followed Deku and his friends’ journey from the very beginning, cheering them on through their triumphs and tragedies, and I have grown attached to these characters like they were my own friends. The thought of saying goodbye to this world and these characters is bittersweet at best.
The popular manga series “My Hero Academia” is set to conclude with the publication of its upcoming chapter. To mark this milestone, the manga has unveiled new artwork as part of its ongoing celebration of its 10th anniversary in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. While fans rejoice over this anniversary achievement, they also face the bittersweet realization that the series is nearing its end. Originally announced to conclude earlier this summer, the final chapter by Kohei Horikoshi will be out in August.
Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of the “My Hero Academia” series, announced in August that the manga would be coming to an end soon. Since then, we’ve had five more chapters leading up to the final one, which is set to be released next week. To mark this milestone, the latest issue of the manga will include exclusive artwork featuring All Might and some of the most memorable moments from the series’ history. Take a look at it below:

When Does My Hero Academia End?
My Hero Academia will be officially bringing the manga release to an end with Chapter 430 of the series releasing on Monday, August 5th in Japan (and Sunday, August 4th internationally). Horikoshi’s message to fans ahead of the final five chapters reads as such, “Sorry for taking a two week break! I had some schedules overlap each other like a mille feuille! This series will end in 5 chapters. You might be thinking ‘there’s still 5 chapters to go?!’ or ‘only 5 chapters left?!’ but no matter which one you’re thinking, I will strive to make an amazing five chapters that everyone can enjoy!”
Horikoshi expressed his gratitude by saying, “Together with Deku and the rest of the team! The past decade or so wasn’t without its challenges, but I’m grateful that I got to tell their story. And who made that possible? You, dear reader! It felt like a dream. I can’t thank you enough. Looking forward to our next encounter in the next Jump issue!”
