As a huge fan of Futurama, I can’t contain my excitement for the upcoming Season 12 that’s set to premiere on Hulu this Summer. The recent Comic-Con panel revealed some fantastic news about the new wave of guest stars joining the series, and I can hardly wait to see how they fit into the wacky adventures of our beloved characters.
In the upcoming summer release on Hulu, Futurama‘s Season 12 is set to bring in a fresh batch of guest stars. The voice actors are excitedly anticipating these new arrivals and what unique elements they will add to the show. With only one day left until its return to our screens, Futurama‘s quirky exploits from the last season will continue uninterrupted. Similar to Season 11, renowned voices will lend their talents to breathe life into new characters within the series.
In the upcoming Season 12 of Futurama, some fresh faces will join the cast as guest stars. These include Danny Trejo, Tom Kenny, Ana Ortiz, Cara Delevingne, Bill Nye, Kyle Maclachlan, and LeVar Burton, among others. John DiMaggio, who voices Bender and other characters in the show, and Maurice LaMarche, responsible for Calculon, Morbo, and numerous other voices, share their eagerness for the new season’s developments, brought about by these new guest stars and the exciting episodes to come.
Futurama Season 12 Guest Stars Teased
“I had the pleasure of attending the LeVar Burton interview,” DiMaggio shared with a smirk. “Since LeVar and I go way back, I’m particularly looking forward to that episode. Plus, there’s an extra amazing guest in it who makes it even more unmissable for me. I can’t reveal much, but I’m thrilled about that episode and every other upcoming one.” Later on, Maurice LeMarche joined in with his own enthusiasm for the forthcoming episodes.
“During our panel presentation, we had previewed some scenes which we had recorded separately due to COVID-19. Reading the scripts in isolation didn’t give us a clear sense of how the story unfolds or builds tension. But when we saw it on screen, we were blown away by its brilliance – an unexpected 15-fold improvement from what we had already imagined.”
Beginning on July 29, 2024, Hulu will unveil the premiere of Futurama‘s Season 12. Hulu previews the upcoming episodes as follows: “Post the successful 2023 revival of Futurama on Hulu, the iconic sci-fi show created by Matt Groening and David X. Cohen is coming back with ten fresh episodes in 2024. In this journey around the sun, our quirky crew embarks on thrilling journeys filled with challenges such as deadly birthday party games, unearthing Bender’s ancestral robot village secrets, making AI friends (and foes), irresistible beanbags, and revealing the enigmatic origin of the mind-altering substance called coffee. Of course, we also look forward to the next installment in Fry and Leela’s complex, time-manipulated love story.”
