Tracker Season 2 Premiere Date Moved Up by CBS

As a devoted fan of “Tracker,” I can hardly contain my excitement at the news that the show is coming back two weeks earlier than originally announced! As someone who has been following this gripping series since its inception, I can attest to the fact that it’s one of the best new shows on television. The first season left us hanging with a tantalizing cliffhanger, and I can hardly wait to see how Colter Shaw (played brilliantly by Justin Hartley) unravels the mystery surrounding his father’s death in Season 2.

1. Instead of saying “The number one new series on TV is coming back to primetime a little earlier than expected,” you could say “Surprise! Our favorite top-rated TV show is returning to prime time earlier than anticipated.”

1) CBS has moved the Season 2 premiere of “Tracker” to Sunday, October 13th. The series will debut at 8pm Eastern Time, an hour earlier than its usual Season 1 slot, and will be followed by the Season 26 finale of “Big Brother.” For the next two Sundays following that, “Tracker” episodes will air at 8:30pm Eastern Time before shifting to its regular 8pm time on November 3rd.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m hooked on “Tracker,” where Justin Hartley plays the role of Colter Shaw, a character I follow through his thrilling pursuits. This series is inspired by the acclaimed book series penned by Jeffery Deaver. The initial season unfolded in a procedural manner, yet it was the persistent enigma that haunted Colter that truly captivated me. That elusive mystery found resolution at the end of Season 1, as I witnessed Colter reconnect with his siblings, Melissa Roxburgh and Jensen Ackles. However, the case remains unsolved for now. The demise of Colter’s father will set the stage for an even grander mystery in Season 2.

Hartley said to Deadline following the finale of Tracker Season 1, “Finishing the show so well and tying up all these stories neatly is impressive and satisfying. However, we’ve got another season to film, and it needs to surpass Season 1. So, while we aimed to wrap up those storylines, we also wanted the conclusions to spark new, intriguing questions about his past. I believe we achieved that by answering some of the questions we’d been building all year. I think we did well in ensuring that the answers to these questions then lead to a larger mystery, something we can delve into further in Season 2.”

Alongside the anticipated comeback of “Tracker,” fans are excitedly looking forward to the arrival of some notable guest stars in Season 2. Prominently on this list are Roxburgh and Ackles, in addition to Hartley’s real-life spouse, Sofia Pernas, who previously portrayed Billie, the determined adversary.
