The First Descendant Will Receive a Guaranteed Drop System in the Future

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I’ve seen my fair share of game updates that promise the world but fail to deliver. However, hearing about the upcoming changes for “The First Descendant” has me genuinely excited. The guarantee of an item after completing activities multiple times is a welcome change, as it adds a sense of reward and progression.

As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled that today marks the launch of the first content update for “The First Descendant.” In a recent update, director Minseok Joo shared insights into upcoming changes, and one particularly exciting development is a new system to ensure players are rewarded with an item after completing an activity multiple times. This system promises to enhance the gaming experience even further!

Regarding the matter of getting rid of Descendant and weapon blueprints, the developer is creating a novel disassembly method that will yield “byproducts.” These byproducts can be traded in a rotating store for valuable items. Additionally, they are developing an “experimentation area” where players can test various builds by assigning socket types to their loadouts.

The upcoming discussions about modifications will take place during Seasons 1 and 2, so keep an eye out for future announcements. Regarding balance, Joo mentioned that the team aims for a dynamic meta as we transition from one season to another. He highlighted that currently, Descendants with combat skills are extremely effective – therefore, they plan to boost firearm-based encounters in the final stage.

“While it’s not guaranteed that every descendant and weapon will always be evenly powerful, our aim is to consistently refresh the optimal strategies by making changes. We pledge to continually tweak and provide various gameplay options through new content updates.”
