EA Sports College Football 25 Had More Than 5 Million Players in its First Week

As a gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the return of EA Sports College Football has been nothing short of exhilarating. The sheer scale of its success is truly remarkable, and it’s not every day we witness a game attract over 5 million players in its first week!

A great deal of anticipation built up around the launch of EA Sports College Football 25, and as expected, it’s off to a strong start with high first-week sales and a large number of players enjoying the game.

In their latest quarterly financial statement, Electronic Arts announced a staggering $1.262 billion in total sales, with a significant portion credited to the remarkable performance of EA Sports College Football 25.

According to EA, the game drew in over 5 million players within just its first week. Out of those, approximately half a million played it via the EA Play trial, while the remaining players had bought copies of the game themselves. It’s worth noting that earlier, the company had already announced that the game attracted around 2.8 million players during its early access phase alone. For more details on this, you can read here.
