As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that August 2024 is shaping up to be an exceptional month for PlayStation Plus subscribers! Sony has truly outdone themselves this time around, offering a trio of games that not only span various genres but also cater to different playstyles.
In August 2024, Sony has revealed its schedule of complimentary games heading to PlayStation Plus. During the month of July, PlayStation Plus subscribers had the opportunity to acquire games such as “Borderlands 3”, “NHL 24”, and “Among Us” at absolutely no cost for their digital PlayStation collection. Although this selection was largely appreciated, the overall savings from these free games weren’t particularly significant. However, Sony is now preparing to present a variety of titles in August that will provide substantial savings for PlayStation Plus members.
Starting on Tuesday, August 6th and running through September 2nd, I can’t wait to get my hands on some fantastic games as a PlayStation Plus subscriber! The lineup includes LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, and Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. Of these three, LEGO Star Wars stands out to me as it was just released about two years ago. And what’s more, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is a fantastic addition because it coincides with the franchise’s 10th anniversary!
As is customary, all the games joining PlayStation Plus in August can be played on both PS5 and PS4 consoles. Specifically, versions tailored for native PS5 play are available for download with LEGO Star Wars and FNAF. In contrast, Ender Lilies can be played on PS5 as a PS4 game that is forward-compatible.
To discover more details about the latest PS Plus games available in August, you’ll find brief descriptions and video previews for each game linked beneath.
