As a long-time wrestling enthusiast who has witnessed the rise and fall of countless superstars, I must say, Kamille’s AEW debut was nothing short of electrifying! The power she displayed against Brittany Jade was reminiscent of the legendary behemoths that have graced the squared circle.
Last week, I was taken aback by an unforeseen encounter with the formidable Kamille, who made her AEW debut by ambushing me and allying with TBS Champion Mercedes Mone. Since then, my rivals, the Young Bucks, have suspended me, and tonight on Dynamite, Kamille stepped into the ring for her AEW debut against Brittany Jade. Unfortunately for Jade, the match was heavily in Kamille’s favor, as she showcased her immense strength throughout the brief bout, executing a devastating finisher and securing her first win in All Elite Wrestling. To add salt to the wound, Mone couldn’t resist gloating a bit more, as the odds have now shifted significantly in Mercedes’ favor for All In.
An Impressive Display
Without hesitating for a signal, Kamille swiftly advanced, piercing Jade with a spear, and the action immediately escalated. Kamille delivered several chest blows followed by dragging Jade’s face along the ropes from one side of the ring to the other. Subsequently, she hoisted Jade above the turnbuckle multiple times before tossing Jace across the ring.
After that, Kamille executed a stunning jumping leg drop, causing Mone to chuckle from ringside. Subsequently, Kamille prepared for a brutal slam, effectively ending the contest and securing her the victory. Following this, Mone commended her new partner and spoke about Baker who had been suspended due to incidents at San Diego Comic-Con. Interestingly, it was the Bucks who imposed the suspension since Tony Khan arranged their match at AEW All In, a move that Mone found highly disappointing.
Meeting at All In
At the AEW Comic-Con panel, Baker was discussing Mone with the audience when suddenly Mone and Kamille interrupted. Mone continued to mock Baker, saying she wouldn’t get a chance at the TBS Championship during All In, and sarcastically inquired about how she felt after the attack from Kamille. The panel almost turned into a fight, but Tony Khan stepped in and officially made the match.
“Britt, here’s another question: How does it feel knowing that you might not reach the level of Mercedes Mone or reclaim the TBS Championship? Also, there won’t be an All In match between us, as I’ll face someone else instead. And regarding this Title, Britt, I’m giving you one last chance to see it because you won’t get another opportunity,” Mone said, adding, “But Britt, I’m granting you a final glimpse of this Title, because it’s unlikely that you’ll ever hold it again.”
