Who is Ellis Dragon? He’s a renowned biotech scientist and entrepreneur, often labeled as both brilliant and eccentric. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when his spouse passes away.
Apart from his roles in “The West Wing,” “Parks and Recreation,” “9-1-1: Lone Star,” and more recently “9-1-1,” Rob Lowe has also appeared in other notable series such as “The Outsiders,” “St. Elmo’s Fire,” “Wayne’s World,” and “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.”
John Owen Lowe plays Jackson Dragon
Who is Jackson Dragon, you ask? He’s actually Ellis’s son. Compared to his father, he’s seen as being more earthbound and reserved. He finds it challenging to step out from under his dad’s shadow. Interestingly, he eventually returns to Ellis’s business, albeit reluctantly, to help stir things up again.
Apart from those roles, have I graced any other screens? Well, yes! You might’ve spotted me in a few other places too. I worked alongside my father, Rob Lowe, in the Fox comedy “The Grinder” and the holiday romance flick “Holiday in the Wild”.
Sian Clifford plays Anna Bennet
Who is Anna Bennett? She is the Chief Financial Officer for Ellis, often characterized as intelligent, resilient, and powerful. She isn’t afraid to stand her ground against him, and it’s her determination that has kept Ellis’s business afloat during his emotional struggles.
Have you seen any other shows or series featuring Sian Clifford? She’s known for roles in Fleabag, the ITV show Quiz?, collaborations with Maisie Williams in Two Weeks to Live, and appearances on BBC’s Life After Life.
Lamorne Morris plays Peter (season 2)
In the upcoming second season, we meet Peter – a dynamic entrepreneur who has established a promising tech startup. As he gains more influence, his presence could potentially strain the relationship between Ellis and Jackson.
Has Lamorne Morris been in any other projects apart from New Girl? Since wrapping up that show in 2018, he’s starred in Hulu comedy Woke, received an Emmy nomination for his role in Fargo season 5, and acted in movies like Barbershop: The Next Cut, Game Night, The Christmas Chronicles, and Bloodshot.
Iris Apatow plays Georgia (season 2)
Georgia is formerly Anna’s stepdaughter and has recently secured an internship at the tech company Dragon. Despite not being a natural fit for corporate life, she seems to relish in causing trouble for Anna whenever possible.

What else has Aaron Branch been in? He’s a comedian and writer. This is his first major role.
Rachel Marsh plays Luna Castillo
As a cinephile, I’d put it like this: “I’m curious about Luna Castillo; she’s a brilliant biotech engineer who works under the guidance of Ellis. Some might label her as ‘shy,’ ‘awkward,’ or ‘weird,’ but to me, she’s just another fascinating character in the grand scheme of life.”
Has Rachel Marsh also starred in any other productions? She’s featured in several short films and independent projects like Half Vanilla, a film that won an accolade at the London Independent Film Awards.
Emma Ferreira plays Ruby Rosario
Who is Ruby Rosario? She is another biotech engineer and a research partner with Luna. Known for being outgoing, approachable, and enjoyable, she is often contrasted with Luna.
Has Emma Ferreira appeared in anything else aside from that? She was the lead in the Canadian movie “Learn to Swim,” which is available for streaming on Netflix.
Fred Armisen plays Leslie
Who is Leslie? Ellis’s therapist. He could also do with some emotional support himself.
