After countless hours spent building and expanding my humble town of Kingsmarch in Path of Exile’s Settlers League, I found myself yearning for the elusive Bismuth Ore. Being a seasoned miner, I knew it wasn’t as simple as just sending my miners out west to dig up this precious resource. So, I decided to share my hard-earned wisdom with fellow adventurers like myself!
As you progress in constructing the town of Kingsmarch, a member of the Settlers League within Path of Exile, you’ll eventually discover the necessity for Bismuth Ore. Initially, your miners won’t be able to mine Bismuth Ores right away, but I’ve prepared a simple guide to help them get started on this task.
How to Mine Bismuth Ore
To begin with, ensure your Town Recruitment is at Rank 4. If you find it’s not, you can upgrade it by clicking on the hammer icon (Town Improvements) located in the Tavern of Kingsmarch. For this task, you will require these resources:
- 370 Gold
- 40 Petrified Amber Ore
- 10 Corn
- 20 Wheat
Simply walk west from the Tavern, direction the Mining Establishment. Once you arrive, click on the hammer icon for Mining Improvements.
Enhance your mining operation to attain a Rank 4 status so that your miners can commence extracting Bismuth Ore. To advance to Rank 4 in mining, you’ll require the resources listed below:
- 700 Gold
- 5 Crimson Iron Bar
- 5 Orichalcum Bar
- 5 Petrified Amber Bar
- 10 Wheat
After that, click on the Mining Information board located in front of the Mining Establishment.
Click on the “Manage Workers” button, it is the icon with a small plus sign.
Click on the small, downward-facing button next to each ‘Miner’ option, and then choose ‘Bismuth Ore’ from the menu that appears.
To boost your Bismuth Ore mining speed, consider increasing the number of miners working on it, particularly those with higher ranks. The more miners you have, the faster your production rate will be. This production rate, in turn, determines how much Bismuth Ore you’ll be collecting each hour.
