As a seasoned gamer with a heart for wrestling, I’ve been following the WWE scene since the Attitude Era, and let me tell you, the buzz around Trish Stratus and Tiffany Stratton is electrifying! Stratus has always been an icon for me, and seeing her tease a comeback against the promising newcomer Stratton has sent my adrenaline soaring.
Previously, at the “Money in the Bank” event in July, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus and Tiffany Stratton had an intriguing encounter behind the scenes that garnered significant fan interest. During a press conference, Stratton expressed her aspiration for a match with the esteemed Stratus. This suggestion sparked excitement among fans, as they have noticed similarities between these two popular wrestlers. Despite having only been in the ring for a few years, Stratton’s impact in NXT as a women’s champion and now on the main roster has catapulted her to the forefront of the card. Stratus has yet to comment publicly, but in a recent interview, she hinted at returning to wrestling for the promising newcomer.
Trish Stratus Calls Out Tiffany Stratton
Stratus shared with Adrian Hernandez on Unlikely, “Listen, I made sure to prepare for a return when the time came. It’s not just empty talk; it’s about making a mark, isn’t it? It’s about several aspects, correct? It’s about entertaining the fans, pushing myself as a performer, and trying out something new. Working with Zoe helps me connect with a younger audience or inspire someone else. So, in essence, that’s what I’m aiming for – ticking those boxes. There are multiple boxes to be ticked here, you understand? As I stand here, I’d love to return fully if possible, but I can’t promise; if she continues to provoke, it might be necessary to assert authority.”
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but miss seeing the incredible Stratus inside the squared circle. It’s been a year since she battled Becky Lynch within a steel cage, an experience that was first for her career. That epic encounter left her with a grievous injury, possibly explaining her absence from the ring. Although she hasn’t made her comeback yet, she did grace us with her presence as the host of Money in the Bank. Stratus herself has stated that she would only return if she’s fully healed, at “100%.” There’s a long list of wrestlers eager to square off against her, among them is my favorite, Zoey Stark. She’s holding out hope that Stratus will make a return to wrap up their unfinished story.
