The alluring setting of a private island, the enigmatic cast, and the hint of mystery surrounding its inhabitants are reminiscent of classic suspense films like Epstein Island (not actually an island, but you get the idea).
Arriving in your inbox is the trailer for Blink Twice, penned and helmed by Zoe Kravitz. It appears to be a rather chilling thriller, hinting at an eerie resemblance to Epstein Island.
At a charity event, tech tycoon Slater King (played by Channing Tatum) encounters cocktail server Frida (Naomi Ackie). Instant chemistry ignites, and he extends an invitation for her to join him and his companions on a luxurious getaway at his private island. The locale is idyllic, with the line between nights filled with excitement and days bathed in sunshine becoming increasingly blurred. However, as peculiar occurrences surface, Frida becomes uneasy about the true nature of this haven. To escape unscathed, she must unravel the mystery that threatens the party.
