During the Miss Teen USA 2024 pageant on August 1st, the newly-crowned Miss Teen West Virginia, at 19 years old, gracefully spun as she strutted onto the stage, displaying her sash.
Initially, Olivia took a sharp turn that was slightly overextended close to the stage’s edge, causing her to lose balance and fall off almost instantly. Yet, she managed to bounce back swiftly, displaying a confident double thumbs-up to an applauding crowd as if nothing had happened.
Despite Olivia not claiming the crown in the end (as Addie Carver from Mississippi was crowned the winner), West Virginia’s very own Olivia managed to secure a place among the top five contenders.
But make no mistake about it, she’ll always be proud of how far she’s come in the pageant world.
“In a heartfelt June Instagram post, she expressed that she’s speechless with gratitude for the chance to take on this role. It’s a dream of hers for such a lengthy time, and she’s eager to make a positive impact in this wonderful state.”

Just as she was about to shine in the contest, Olivia also took a moment to ponder the significance of showcasing her home state’s pride.
“In a post on Instagram dated August 1st, she expressed her eagerness as the ‘West Virginia angel’ to bring her dream to reality, accompanied by a photo of herself in an Angel costume. She finds West Virginia enchanting, with its lush landscapes and abundant wildlife, describing it as close to heaven. Since being crowned, she’s covered over 10,000 miles, but the charm of the Country Roads never fails to pull her back home.”
