As a tech analyst with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that these HP laptop deals are not to be missed. Having reviewed numerous laptops from various manufacturers, I can attest that HP consistently delivers exceptional quality and performance.

Without a doubt, HP is well-versed in crafting top-notch laptops, and among the Windows PCs I’ve assessed, several have been from this esteemed brand. HP caters to various needs with their laptop lineup, even offering models equipped with potent NVIDIA RTX GPUs suitable for creative tasks, video editing, gaming, and other demanding applications. At present, HP is offering substantial discounts of $400 or more on a range of these RTX laptops, including the high-end HP Spectre x360 16 2-in-1, currently priced at $1,699.99 at Best Buy.

If you’re in search of a top-tier, lightweight gaming laptop that’s easy on the wallet? The HP OMEN Transcend 14 is available for just $1,199.99 at HP. Or perhaps you require an enterprise-level Ultrabook with advanced security and a boost in graphics performance? The HP ProBook 460 16 can be yours for $1,459 at HP, which is almost half off its original price. There’s more to explore as well!

Among all the RTX-equipped laptops currently available, the HP Spectre x360 16 (2024) is my top choice, but HP is also offering discounts on numerous other RTX laptops. Regardless of your requirements, there’s likely to be a laptop that suits you perfectly within this selection.

An NVIDIA RTX-powered laptop for every occasion

The HP Spectre x360 14 2-in-1 is one of the best Windows laptops ever, and earned a nearly perfect score in my HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) review. I adore that laptop for its impeccable build quality, class-leading display, fantastic keyboard and touchpad, crystal clear speakers, and a great balance between performance and endurance. The HP Spectre x360 16 is everything great about its smaller 14-inch sibling, but with a larger display and more power.

I haven’t personally tested the HP Spectre x360 16 (2024), but our colleagues at LaptopMag have, and they highly recommend it for similar reasons that I admire the 14-inch version. The OLED screen offers stunning clarity, vibrancy, and beauty beyond belief, its touch and stylus capabilities complement the flexible 360-degree hinge and convertible design perfectly, the speakers deliver top-notch audio among all Windows laptops, the keyboard is tactile and swift to respond, and the overall performance is exceptional.

The Spectre x360 16 model offers an advantage that the 14-inch version doesn’t: it comes equipped with a discrete NVIDIA RTX GPU. This collaboration between HP and NVIDIA delivers the necessary power for creative work, video editing, light gaming, and other demanding graphic tasks. Although it’s not a dedicated gaming laptop, its premium design and powerful GPU make an impressive pairing. At Best Buy, you can get this versatile device for just $1,699.99 – that’s a significant $500 discount off the original price.

If I were to suggest my second best choice among deals, I’d highly recommend the HP OMEN Transcend 14, currently available at HP for only $1,199.99 – a savings of $400! This slim and lightweight 14-inch gaming laptop boasts an NVIDIA RTX 4050 GPU under its hood. In my review of the HP OMEN Transcend 14, I praised its vibrant and smooth OLED display, elegant design, and comfy keyboard, but noted its high initial price point. This deal significantly addresses that concern, offering a top-tier, compact gaming laptop at a price only slightly higher than the common entry-level gaming laptops with plastic build.

If you’re seeking comparable performance but prefer a larger display and are willing to compromise on design and additional features, consider the HP OMEN 17, priced at just $929.99 from HP, delivering a budget-friendly gaming laptop below the $1,000 mark. Conversely, if you’re after high-end performance, the HP OMEN Transcend 16 boasts a 14th Gen Intel Core i7 and an RTX 4070, allowing you to play top PC games at medium to high settings with ease.

Not everything revolves around gaming, though. The HP Envy 17 for $1,199.99 at HP is a very well-rounded, large-screened laptop perfect for productivity and creative work thanks to its capable Intel Core Ultra 7, generous RAM and SSD storage, and an RTX 3050 that gives you a little extra boost when you need it. For the business people, the enterprise HP ProBook 460 16 is ultra secure but doesn’t slack on power, as it does come with an RTX 2050 inside. It’s an entry-level GPU, but it’s still better than no discrete GPU at all, and this laptop is nearly half off at $1,459 at HP.

Whichever laptop you choose, you’ll be getting HP’s guarantee of quality, an NVIDIA GPU, and a great deal.
