As a long-time Marvel fan with a soft spot for quirky humor and action-packed adventures, I must say that the latest Deadpool & Wolverine movie has been an absolute delight! The cameos and character variations were a fun surprise, especially seeing Nathan Fillion as Headpool and Matthew McConaughey as Cowboypool. But what truly made my heart flutter was the appearance of Ryan Reynolds‘ family – his wife Blake Lively as Ladypool and their kids Inez and Olin as Kidpool and Babypool!
Last weekend, the movie starring Deadpool and Wolverine premiered in theaters, boasting several unexpected appearances. Besides showcasing many well-known figures, the third Marvel installment also introduced some high-profile stars donning costumes as part of the Deadpool Corps. As a die-hard fan, I was thrilled to learn that ComicBook had an engaging conversation with Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and the director of Deadpool & Wolverine, Shawn Levy. Although they weren’t dishing out any spoilers, when asked about the possibility of working with Blake Lively in a Marvel project, Reynolds provided a side-splitting response that left fans eagerly anticipating their potential collaboration.
Reynolds stated with great sincerity, “She isn’t nearly as friendly as Hugh,” which made Jackman and Levy chuckle. “Oh, we’re not shooting just yet,” he quipped playfully. “But give me a moment to get into full acting mode.”
Later, Jackman emphasized that his friendship with Reynolds started before Reynolds began dating Lively.
Reynolds expressed, “In the past, everyone used to collaborate, spending time together, much like old friends. They had Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn… It would be wonderful if I could work with someone like Blake.”
