As a seasoned gamer with years of wrestling simulation games under my belt, tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown was nothing short of exhilarating! The Unholy Union title defense between Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill was a rollercoaster ride, to say the least.
Tonight’s installment of WWE SmackDown features a title defense from the Unholy Union, with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill invoking their rematch clause following their loss at Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, Scotland. Despite their physical prowess, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn should not be underestimated for their intelligence. Throughout the contest, both former champions demonstrated their mettle to Cleveland’s audience. However, Fyre and Dawn held an ace up their sleeve with a surprise move hinted at for weeks, as Blair Davenport, formerly of NXT, is set to make her official main roster debut following her call-up earlier this year.
During her ongoing rivalry with Naomi on SmackDown, it seems Sasha Banks has been secretly collaborating with the champions too. She aided them in maintaining their titles by securing a disqualification victory, which left fans disappointed as they expected Cargill and Belair to emerge victorious. However, this move paves the way for an intriguing plotline between the Unholy Union and the duo of Cargill and Belair.

At a SummerSlam interview with ComicBook, Cargill discussed her collaboration with Belair and the highlights of learning under her guidance. “I think it’s been fantastic working together, sharing ideas, and finding common ground in the ring,” Cargill expressed. “I’ve been observing her for quite some time now, watching her execute her moves and manage everything so effortlessly.” She added, ” frankly, she’s amazing at what she does, and I feel she doesn’t really need my advice, but it’s been inspiring to see her work.”
One thing she does for me is assist me during matches. Both her and Naomi have been instrumental in guiding me, as I’ve never collaborated with someone before; I’ve always performed solo. She feels the same way, so we’re both learning together. Interestingly, her husband plays a significant role in this, given his extensive experience in the tag team division throughout his career. Consequently, it’s been an enlightening journey for me, as I’ve discovered more about myself while working in a tag team setting.
