With Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey returning as Joel and Ellie respectively, along with new faces like Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, I am thrilled to see how this captivating story unfolds.
In The Last of Us Part II video game, Ellie laments that she can’t follow the right path because she herself is in the wrong. Contrastingly, in HBO’s upcoming series The Last of Us Season 2, it’s Joel (Pedro Pascal) who has committed a wrong. In the trailer for the show, which will stream on Max in 2024 and 2025, Catherine O’Hara’s character questions Joel about Ellie (Bella Ramsey), asking if he had harmed her. However, Joel denies this, asserting that he protected her instead.
The video showcases fresh perspectives on HBO’s original series like “The Penguin,” “The White Lotus,” “The Gilded Age,” “Dune: Prophecy,” “It: Welcome to Derry,” and the “Game of Thrones” spinoff titled “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.” It also provides a sneak peek at returning cast members Gabriel Luna, Isabela Merced, and Jeffrey Wright, who will reprise their roles in season 2, with Wright portraying Isaac Dixon, a character he originally played from the game.
