As a seasoned WWE fan with memories spanning over three decades, I must say that the current rivalry between Gunther and Randy Orton is nothing short of electrifying! The anticipation for their rematch at WWE Bash has my adrenaline pumping like never before.
Following a 666-day tenure as Intercontinental Champion and losing it in April, Gunther has reclaimed gold within the WWE yet again, being declared the new World Heavyweight Champion mere days after his crowning at SummerSlam. The main catalyst for this was Finn Balor of Judgment Day, who manipulated the situation to disadvantage Damian Priest en route to this title win. While Gunther feels no one can defeat him now, Randy Orton appears to hold a different perspective. Currently on the blue brand, Orton has been embroiled in conflict with The Bloodline for months, acting as an ally to Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. However, after helping Rhodes defeat Solo Sikoa, Orton is now turning his attention back towards gold. In May, they faced off for the first time during the King of the Ring tournament final; with Gunther emerging victorious, many spectators noticed that Orton’s shoulder was not fully pinned to the mat. Whether this was a deliberate act or not, it is now being utilized in their narrative.
RandyOrton is planning to exit Germany, but not before declaring: “I’m the new World Heavyweight Champion!” He’s seeking a rematch against Gunther_AUT, and he wants it at #WWEBash for the World Heavyweight Championship! #WWERaw

As a longtime fan of professional wrestling, I can’t help but feel excited about the prospect of seeing Triple H and Randy Orton face off again in a sequel to their previous match. Having watched both these wrestlers for years, I can appreciate the skill and dedication they bring to the ring.
During the WWE’s pandemic-era in 2020, Orton clinched his 10th WWE Championship title by defeating Drew McIntyre. However, McIntyre regained his title less than a month later, making him a two-time champion. After an absence of over a year due to injury, Orton made a comeback at the Survivor Series in November 2021. Despite doubts about his return, he has been performing strongly. His most recent televised match was at Money in the Bank, where he teamed with Rhodes and Kevin Owens against The Bloodline’s Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga.
