Venom: The Last Dance Set Video Shows Eddie Brock Visiting Spider-Man's Hometown

As a seasoned gamer and comic book enthusiast who’s lived through the rise and fall (and rise again) of many superhero franchises, I can confidently say that the latest news about Venom: The Last Dance has me more than just a little excited. Tom Hardy is back as everyone’s favorite symbiotic anti-hero, and if the recent set photos are any indication, we might just see him tango with Spider-Man – something fans have been eagerly anticipating for years.

The freshly released photos from Venom: The Last Dance’s set depict Eddie Brock evading capture. Reshoots are underway for the upcoming Sony Marvel film, with Tom Hardy bringing the movie to life on location. Various social media accounts, such as @Tom_Hardy_Itali, have shared images of the actor in character near Peter Parker’s usual New York City haunt. While there’s no definite word yet about Spider-Man making an appearance in Venom 2, fans have longed for these two characters to interact. Given that Sony has been hinting at this meeting for quite some time now, any progress towards that goal is likely appreciated by fans.

It’s hard to ignore the fact that Deadpool and Wolverine are breaking box office records left and right, given the current trend of pairing popular characters on screen. Marvel might consider teaming up Spider-Man with his iconic villain at some point during Avengers: Secret Wars, or even before that. However, there’s a lot of ground to cover in Venom: The Last Dance, which may not leave much room for Spider-Man fights. But, as ever, the hope of Marvel fans remains high. We’ll see if their anticipation is fulfilled this time around.

Indeed, the upcoming film titled “Venom: The Last Dance” reunites Tom Hardy and a host of characters from across the Sony Marvel universe. Apart from our beloved Eddie Brock portrayed by Tom Hardy, we’ll see Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rhys Ifans, Clark Backo, Stephen Graham, and Peggy Lou once again. Kelly Marcel is directing this final chapter of Venom’s story. This Marvel trilogy, surprisingly popular over the last decade, has left fans eagerly anticipating it. The affection for these characters, reminiscent of the 90s or Tom Hardy’s impressive portrayal of this type of character, continues to grow. Speaking to Collider, director Kelly Marcel had nothing but praise for Tom Hardy.

Marcel expresses that he and Tom share a rich history of collaboration, which they both enjoy immensely. They hold mutual affection for one another and are equally passionate about the Venom franchise. It’s an delight for them to be working on this third project together. Unfortunately, I can’t reveal any details except that it promises to be fantastic. When we work together, there’s always a lot of laughter involved – it’s just so much fun!
