As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must admit, the upcoming release of Funko Fusion has me more than just a little excited! With its unique blend of beloved Universal films, particularly the horror genre that I’ve always found irresistible, it’s like a dream come true.
Next month, the anticipated release of the game titled Funko Fusion will offer content inspired by several cherished Universal films such as The Thing, Jaws, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Previous trailers have given us a sneak peek, but we’re still unsure about how everything will harmonize together. Recently, developer 10:10 Games has unveiled a new trailer for Funko Fusion, focusing solely on content derived from the movie Nope. Earlier announcements hinted at the inclusion of this Jordan Peele film in the game, and now we have a clearer picture of what’s to come. The trailer showcases several familiar scenes re-enacted with Funko figurines of the original cast.
The Nope trailer for Funko Fusion can be found below.
In the trailer, the Haywood family’s struggle with Jean Jacket mirrors what happens in the film, even featuring Antlers Holst’s attempt to capture a UFO on camera. The trailer doesn’t reveal other characters entering this world or how Eddie intends to alter it to his liking. However, it does showcase some gameplay elements, as we observe OJ and Em roaming through locations from the movie, including the Haywood house and Jupiter’s Claim.
As a passionate gamer, one thing that truly piques my curiosity about Funko Fusion is its striking resemblance to LEGO video games, particularly those based on iconic franchises like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. It’s almost as if we’re diving into interactive adaptations of beloved movies, but this time, it’s all wrapped up in a toy-inspired format. What sets Funko Fusion apart is its focus on horror properties, with titles like Nope serving as an introduction, while also featuring characters and storylines from Chucky, M3GAN, and many more. The recent trailer for Funko Fusion leaves no doubt that 10:10 Games isn’t holding back on the gore – just take a look at the Haywood residence, drenched in blood, much like it was in Nope.
Excitedly anticipating the launch of Funko Fusion on September 13th, we’re bound to uncover plenty of new details about the game as we move forward into the following weeks!
