As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I’ve seen my fair share of zombie apocalypses, but the new gameplay reveal for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s Zombies mode has me truly excited! The Terminus map promises a thrilling continuation of the Dark Aether storyline, with our heroes battling hordes of undead and experimental zombies.
Activision together with Treyarch has unveiled the initial gameplay for the Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, focusing primarily on the first map called Terminus. This new installment is a continuation of the Dark Aether storyline where the main characters find themselves trapped inside a prison overrun by zombies, which also serves as a site for ongoing undead experiments. Take a look at it below.
In addition to fresh weaponry, certain power-ups enable you to metamorphose into a robust character and plow through hordes of undead by charging ahead. Notably, the characters can move in all directions, including diving and spinning 180 degrees on the ground to shoot zombies that are behind them.
As traditional dangers persist, fresh horrors surface, such as a spider-like beast and a collective undead foe. Notably, there’s something sinister lurking beneath the waves with terrifying tentacles. It’s important to note that this is just one aspect of the Zombies gameplay at launch; another map, Liberty Falls, will be introduced on August 28th, unveiled during Call of Duty Next.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launches on October 25th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC.
