The Young No'madds: Take A Look Inside Inside Battle Quest's New Fantasy Title

As a seasoned comic book enthusiast with over two decades of reading under my belt, let me tell you, these preview pages from “The Young No’Madds” have caught my eye and piqued my curiosity. The artwork is dynamic, the characters are intriguing, and the storylines hint at a depth that I can’t wait to dive into.

In response to a surge of retail backing for their unique strategy for Free Comic Book Day this year, Battle Quest Comics has revealed that they will be joining Diamond’s FOC (Final Order Cutoff) program with their October releases. The initial title in this series, titled “The Young No’Madds“, is set to hit stores this autumn, with further instalments scheduled for 2025. Battle Quest Comics has given ComicBook an exclusive sneak peek at the first issue of “The Young No’Madds“, showcasing some interior artwork, as well as two cover designs for “The Young No’Madds #2“.

As a publisher at Battle Quest Comics, I can’t help but feel overjoyed about our presence on FOC (Full Order Cutoff). Just two years after launching with Diamond in 2022, we’ve managed to carve out a niche for ourselves within the direct market. Two teenage rivals set off on a quest to obtain a supremely powerful artifact, their sole means of thwarting the malevolent forces that are ravaging their realm.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to be part of the buzz surrounding this fresh new series! The creative minds behind it are Andrew Kafoury, who’s taking on both creator and writer roles, and Matt Keener, our writer/producer. We also have Aaron McConnell, a BQC veteran, joining forces with us. To enrich the visual experience, we’ve got Jeremy Colwell on board – an accomplished colorist known for his stunning work with DC, Dark Horse, and IDW. The upcoming series is scheduled to be advertised in Diamond’s August edition of the PREVIEWS catalog for a release on October 9th.
