Borderlands 2 stands out for its blend of humor, character building, and intricate crafting mechanics. It also boasts a compelling storyline and an iconic villain in Handsome Jack, which is why many players consider it the best.

As a devoted fan, I’d say my journey through the Borderlands universe began with The Pre-Sequel – a captivating spin-off set between the original game and its sequel. Though it may be shorter than other installments, it didn’t skimp on the elements that made Borderlands 2 so beloved, adding a fresh space-themed twist to the mix! Moving forward, Borderlands 3 took gunplay and RPG elements to new heights, but I found its writing somewhat lacking compared to its predecessor. Lastly, there’s Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – a game that truly deserves more recognition. It’s an imaginative extension of the Dungeons & Dragons-themed expansion from Borderlands 2, seamlessly merging the Borderlands experience with fantasy elements such as magic spells, medieval weaponry, and much more!
