As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that Mega Cat Studios has been nothing short of impressive with their latest release, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit. Being an avid fan of the series, I was thrilled to jump into the game a day early and explore this new adventure.


On August 7th, Mega Cat Studios released Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit early. Now, they’ve rolled out the game’s first post-release update, but it’s currently only accessible in the public beta version to ensure everything runs smoothly before being implemented fully. The Version 1.0.2.0 patch resolves several problems, such as a ‘blocker fix’, ten general enhancements, and identifies over a dozen other issues affecting some players in the game.

Today, we’re here once more, bringing you swift resolutions! Our team is diligently working on regular and rapid updates, focusing particularly on our beta version. Stay tuned for additional fixes in the near future. Here’s a rundown of the recent adjustments and enhancements:

As a gamer, I’m excited to share that the latest update is now available on our public beta version! To get in on the action, just follow the steps outlined in the video you’ll find below. Once we verify the update is rock-solid, it will be rolled out to the main game branch for everyone to enjoy.

Fixed Blockers:

  • Exiting the camera after the jumpscare causes Oswald to disappear

Other improvements:

  • Fixed Yellow Rabbit’s eyes sometimes not glowing blue
  • Fixed scrolling delay on the Alternative Music UI
  • Credits can now be manually scrolled with the up/down keys
  • Improved consistency with ending cinematic achievement timings
  • Fixed No Battery UI not reappearing after cinematics
  • Fixed some sliders responding to more inputs than intended
  • Improved UI spacing in SkeeBall in some languages
  • FixedTerrified Kid’s sprite appearing too soon
  • Fixed Speedrun Timer settings not resetting to off
  • Fixed Battery Obtained SFX still playing in subsequent interactions

Known Issues: (We’re working on them!)

  • Softlock when talking to Mike and Chip
  • Performance issues when using controllers
  • Inputs not working on main menu
  • Menu inaccessible after pausing with dad’s phone
  • Softlock when holding breath as the yellow rabbit appears
  • Achievement notification sometimes remains for 15+ minutes
  • White boxes instead of key prompts in some cases
  • Game doesn’t resume after minimizing, with looping sound effects
  • Missing phone keypad highlights
  • Quest incorrectly asks to find Chip and Mike after they’ve already been found
  • Rare cases of crashes
  • Some items missing in the Extras menu
