*Warning: Spoilers for the Deadpool & Wolverine cameos below*

The duo of Deadpool and Wolverine has been a box office success, as the most recent movie installment within the Marvel Cinematic Universe has surpassed the $1 billion mark at international theaters!

According to Deadline, the film surpassed $1.029 billion by Sunday, making it the second highest-grossing R-rated movie in the U.S., with Joker having previously held that position.

Within the initial three days of its debut, the movie earned a total of $444.3 million worldwide, making it one of only a handful (Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Avengers: Infinity War, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi) to have set higher box office records during the same timeframe.

After surpassing the $1 billion milestone, Deadpool and Wolverine joined the ranks of 11 Marvel Cinematic Universe films that have achieved this feat. Notably, both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame exceeded $2 billion in earnings at the box office!

The film has outperformed both Domestic and International box office earnings of Deadpool and its sequel Deadpool 2, making it a global blockbuster success.

The film has achieved tremendous success everywhere, and some of its stars have even set new Guinness World Records!

In a remarkable turn of events, Wesley Snipes’ comeback as the iconic character Blade earned him two impressive milestones: he claimed the record for the longest career portraying a live-action Marvel character, outlasting fellow actor Hugh Jackman, and established the longest interval between appearances of a Marvel character in film.

In the role of Doctor Octopus, which he had played before, Alfred Molina reprised it for the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home this time around.

In the Marvel movie, it wasn’t just Snipes who made a special appearance; instead, several well-known actors returned to their roles, including Jennifer Garner, Dafne Keen, Channing Tatum, and Chris Evans.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Evans’s reprisal of Johnny Storm broke the Guinness World Record for the highest number of feature film appearances as a Marvel superhero, bringing his tally up to 11.

Celebrations all round!

Deadpool & Wolverine is in cinemas now.
