Dungeons 4: The Good, the Bad and the Evil DLC

As a long-time fan of strategy games with a penchant for dark humor and a soft spot for anything Western-themed, I couldn’t help but get excited about Kalypso Media and Realmforge Studios’ latest offering: Dungeons 4’s The Good, the Bad and the Evil DLC.

Kalypso Media and Realmforge Studios have kicked off another round of devilish amusement by launching the first DLC for Dungeons 4, called The Good, the Bad and the Evil. You can grab this game right now for $14.99 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. This expansion takes you back into the wickedly entertaining universe of Dungeons, but with a new spin – this time it’s set in the lawless frontier of the wild, wild West.

Enthusiasts of ‘Dungeons 4’ and those just joining in can both enjoy the thrill of this DLC, which combines strategy, laughter, and fresh trials. This time around, players lead the wicked forces once more, engaging in battles against a familiar yet formidable foe: the Dwarves.

A Wild West Adventure with a Wicked Twist

Title character: The Good, the Bad, and the Malevolent

In these additional levels, you’ll encounter five new adventures, brilliantly narrated by Kevan Brighting, reprising his role as the witty yet cynical storyteller from the series. These missions immerse you in the treacherous and comical landscapes of the Wild West. You’ll be up against the forces of Good as you employ your intelligence and devious tactics to outsmart them.

New Challenges and Content to Explore

Beyond fresh missions, The Good, the Bad and the Evil offers a wealth of additional content, enriching the gameplay. Players can anticipate dealing with extra challenges such as traps, vermin, and passive abilities. These elements bring added complexity to Thalya’s existing arsenal. Yet, with Brynnhild, the Dwarf Queen, and her righteously irritating twin entering the scene, these new skills will face their greatest challenge.

As a fervent admirer, let me assure you: don’t underestimate the might of the dwarves! Equipped with four fresh additions—the Pistolero, Machine Dwarf, Crack Shot, and Brewmaster—they combine force and tenacity in an unmatched way. These newcomers demand strategic thinking from players if they aspire to triumph. Furthermore, their passion for steam locomotives introduces another dimension of difficulty. Why? Because these iron giants chug across the prairie, each loaded with dynamite-tossing, gun-wielding dwarves ready to fiercely protect their domain.

In addition to the already significant challenges, players will encounter a fresh wave of pests. Among these are colossal scorpions capable of causing destruction in both dungeons and the Overworld. To deal with these threats, the Forces of Evil have enhanced their dungeon with novel traps. These include the Hydro-Lava-non, which spews lava, and the Steam trap, where heroes can be cooked like dim-sum if they are not careful.
