As a lifelong Transformers fan, I must admit that my heart skipped a beat when I saw the new posters for Transformers One. Growing up with Optimus Prime and Megatron as my childhood heroes, it’s exciting to see them reimagined in this fresh take on the franchise.


As a die-hard Transformers fan, I’m thrilled to share that this Fall, we’re getting a fresh spin on our beloved lore with Transformers One! This upcoming animated film promises to reshape the origins of the war for Cybertron. By delving into Optimus Prime and Megatron’s lives before they became rivals, it offers an intriguing peek into their pasts. While we’re eagerly awaiting its release in September, there are still plenty of unanswered questions swirling around this exciting new addition to the franchise!

In the upcoming movie, “Transformers One,” the narrative will concentrate on four robots that have been featured in prior installments of the series. However, these characters will boast fresh voices and unique backstories. This new cast brings a fresh perspective to these familiar faces for the latest cinematic adventure. When Is Transformers One Coming Out?

Under the direction of Josh Cooley (of Toy Story 4 fame), the screenplay is penned by Andrew Barrer (Ant-Man and the Wasp), Gabriel Ferrari (No Exit), and Steve Desmond (Knock at the Cabin). This animated movie, produced by Paramount Animation and brought to life by Industrial Light & Magic, hits theaters on September 20th. Known as Transformers One, the film showcases a star-studded cast including Chris Hemsworth as Orion Pax / Optimus Prime, Brian Tyree Henry as D-16 / Megatron, Scarlett Johansson as Elita-1, Keegan-Michael Key as B-127 / Bumblebee, Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime, Laurence Fishburne as Autobot Alpha Trion, and Steve Buscemi as Starscream.

Lorenzo Bonaventura has been appointed as producer for Di Bonaventura Pictures, with Michael Bay also serving as a producer for the live-action Transformers film. Additionally, Tom DeSanto, Don Murphy, Mark Vahradian, and Aaron Dem are involved in the project. Regarding the upcoming animated Transformers movie, titled Transformer One, the plot summary hints at the following:

“In the premiere of the first fully computer-animated Transformers film, TRANSFORMERS ONE, we delve into the untold past of Optimus Prime and Megatron, who were once inseparable friends. Their bond as brothers shaped the destiny of Cybertron forever.
