As a seasoned gamer with over three decades of adventuring under my belt, I must say that the announcement of the voice cast for Avowed has sent a wave of anticipation coursing through me. The roster boasts some heavy-hitters from the gaming world, and I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia as I recall their past roles in games like Mass Effect, Overwatch, and Destiny 2.
Despite being pushed back into early 2025, the much-anticipated title, “Avowed,” is still in the works by developer Obsidian Entertainment. While the wait may be a bit longer than initially anticipated, they’re continuing to share exciting updates about the fantasy RPG. One such update includes unveiling the game’s voice cast.
Obsidian Entertainment has unveiled the cast members playing the four companions that players will travel with in the Living Lands. Brandon Keener, known for his roles in Mass Effect and L.A. Noire, is set to portray Kai, while Mara Junot from League of Legends and Destiny 2 takes on the role of Giatta. Scott Whyte, who has worked on Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, will play Marius, and Anjali Bhimani, famous for her work in Overwatch and Apex Legends, will bring Yatzli to life.
The action RPG titled “Avowed” will be released on February 18, available for both Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms. Xbox will showcase it at Gamescom next week, so look forward to additional information and updates within the following days.
