Dancing With the Stars Season 33 Premiere Date Revealed

As a fervent fan who has been following Dancing with the Stars for years, I am beyond excited for its 33rd season this fall! The energy and passion that Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro bring to the stage are unparalleled, and their return along with the familiar faces of Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli is a testament to the show’s enduring charm.

If you’re yearning to dance with someone or share an intimate warmth with them, then I think you’ll be thrilled by this latest update!

Absolutely, the popular show “Dancing with the Stars” is making a comeback this autumn, marking its 33rd season. The first episode is scheduled for late September, less than a month from now. Join hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro, along with many other celebrities, as they put on their dancing shoes on Sept 17 at 8 p.m. ET. This season will be broadcast on ABC and Disney+.

In a recently posted trailer on Instagram by the dance competition show, Alfonso (age 52) and Julianne (age 36) team up with other professional Dancing with the Stars dancers to heat up the dance floor with an elaborate routine. As of now, the identities of the celebrity participants are still unveiled, but ABC has confirmed that Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli will return as judges, taking their seats once again at the judging table.

Although the complete list of actors hasn’t been revealed yet, enthusiasts are eagerly expressing their wishes about who they hope will shine in the forthcoming season.

A sharp-eyed spectator pointed out on what used to be Twitter that 2024 Olympic bronze medalist Stephen Nedoroscik might be a potential contender, as he unexpectedly disappeared from the Gold All Over America gymnastics tour roster – a fact his girlfriend Tess McCracken had mentioned to TopMob News was coming after the Olympics – and subsequently posted on Instagram that he was going to New York.

Even with about a month remaining before the new season starts, some fans are pondering if “Dancing With The Stars” could be in the cards for the Pommel Horse Guy.

Enthusiasts are already anticipating a victory for the 25-year-old, asserting, “Mark your calendars, Stephen Nedoroscik will be crowned champion on Dancing With The Stars Season 33!”

As a lifestyle enthusiast, if I were to find myself gracing the dance floor with a ballroom routine or two in my future, I’d be joining an esteemed group of former Olympians who have danced their way onto “Dancing with the Stars.” Interestingly, gymnasts seem to be a common sight on this popular show. For instance, the remarkable Simone Biles and Suni Lee, both members of Team USA women’s gymnastics, have strutted their stuff on seasons 24 and 30 respectively.

Shawn Johnson, aged 32, and Laurie Hernandez, who is 24, are among the youngest winners ever on the competition show’s history. Shawn, a former gymnastics champion and mother to Drew (age 4), Jett (age 2), Barrett (9 months), and her husband Andrew East, won the trophy in season 8 at just 17 years old. She also finished as runner-up during the show’s all-star season in 2012.

In that regard, it’s worth noting that during season 23, Laurie became the record-breakingly young winner of the competition, claiming the Mirrorball Trophy when she was only 16 years old.

Throughout Laurie’s stint on the program, she swiftly won over viewers and left the judges in awe. At some point during her tenure, Carrie succinctly explained why Laurie stood out as a clear favorite right from the beginning of her season.

During a Season 23 episode, the judge said to her, “You embody the essence of the American Dream, and you’re also living out the dream of being on Dancing with the Stars.”
