In the latest GamesIndustry.biz Podcast, journalist Christopher Dring suggested that according to his sources, developers within the gaming industry have been informed by Nintendo that the successor to the Switch is unlikely to be released this fiscal year, which pushes its launch date to at least April 2025. Despite some individuals he’s spoken to holding out hope for an April or May release, it seems that an early-year debut may not materialize.
Certainly, this raises intriguing questions regarding the potential timeline for Nintendo to publicly unveil and discuss their upcoming console. Regardless of the timing, it appears that the existing Switch is far from reaching its end.
