Marvel Legends Doctor Strange, Wong, and BATS Multipack Exclusive Drops August 15th

As a seasoned gamer with decades of collecting under my belt, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and anticipation as Hasbro continues to expand their Marvel Legends line. The upcoming Doctor Strange, Wong, and BATS multipack is definitely on my radar, especially the adorable ghost dog BATS. I’ve been a fan of the Marvel universe since the 80s, and I’m always eager to add more figures to my collection.

Lately, Hasbro has been quite occupied with their Marvel Legends series, and this trend persists with the release of a multipack that encompasses characters like Doctor Strange, Wong, and the ghost dog BATS, accompanied by additional items such as alternate hands, special effects parts, and even a Dormammu head. Pre-orders for this exclusive item will commence at 10am PT / 1pm ET on August 15th, available here on Amazon.

Keep in mind that the Marvel Legends Doctor Strange action figure resembles the exclusive edition Hasbro launched on 2021 during a Collector Con event at Walmart. Though the original may be preferable, you can still acquire it via Walmart with a third-party seller. However, this set is quite attractive, particularly for figures like Wong, Dormammu, and especially BATS (Black Agents of S.T.A.R. Struck Team). To be frank, most people are mainly drawn to BATS.

As a long-time fan of both Transformers and Marvel Comics, I was thrilled to hear that Hasbro has started pre-orders for the Fan Channel exclusive Marvel Legends Death’s Head figure. This character first made an appearance in the 1987 issue of Transformers UK, created by Simon Furman and artist Geoff Senior, and since then, he has become a beloved character in both universes.

Hey there fellow Marvel enthusiasts! If you’re like me, a die-hard fan who’s been collecting Marvel Legends figures for years, then this is a golden opportunity you won’t want to miss! I’m talking about an exclusive figure based on an obscure but undeniably awesome character that has a cult following. This rare find is now available for pre-orders at Entertainment Earth, priced at just $39.99.

Captain America: Brave New World Resets The Table For The MCU

The Multiverse Saga has brought numerous alterations to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). According to Anthony Mackie, “Captain America: Brave New World” significantly rearranges the deck for our Earth-bound heroes. Meanwhile, Deadpool and Wolverine are embarking on a time-travel adventure, leaving street-level heroes like Sam Wilson with quite a task at hand. In an interview with EW, Mackie hinted that this film provides significant clues about the upcoming trajectory of these character arcs. The global powers seem increasingly restless, which is typically not a positive sign.

In this movie, there seems to be a fresh start or reboot. It significantly reinforces the concept of the universe and where it’s heading, as Mackie explained to the media outlet. To me, these films appear to be presenting a crisp, new image of what Marvel is aiming for in much the same way they did with Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Mackie explained that the title suggests an evolution in the enemy threat, moving from a familiar good-versus-evil dynamic to uncharted territories. From Captain America: The First Avenger to Endgame, our battles were always about good vs evil. But now that we’ve conquered that, what lies ahead? When our adversaries resurface, in what form will they return? This new storyline brings fresh characters, beliefs, and a vision of a world unlike anything we’ve encountered before.

Captain America’s latest adventure, “Brave New World,” is planned for a theater-only premiere on Valentine’s Day, 2025.
