As a long-time wrestling fan who’s witnessed the meteoric rise of Becky Lynch, also known as “The Man,” I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and admiration for her current journey. While it’s been a while since we last saw her in the ring, it’s clear that she’s taking this time off to recharge, reflect, and enjoy her life outside WWE.
Previously this summer, Becky Lynch fought her last scheduled WWE match, causing some speculation among fans regarding her future involvement with the company. As Seth Rollins, her husband and fellow wrestler, had already signed a new contract, many assumed that Lynch might continue working for WWE. However, any deal involving Lynch would significantly boost any wrestling organization. Although she hasn’t been on television lately, she has been spending quality time with her four-year-old daughter Roux. Fans have grown anxious as Lynch remains silent about her wrestling future. To alleviate these concerns, Rollins stated that she is doing well and will speak about it when she feels ready to do so.
When Will Becky Lynch Return to WWE?
Recently, I’ve been reflecting on my break from WWE and how I’ve been utilizing this time productively. Furthermore, I want to emphasize that there are numerous exciting possibilities awaiting me in the future.
Lynch expressed to Games With Names (with Julian Edelman), “It’s fantastic! Everything is wonderful. I have my delightful family and numerous opportunities ahead. For the first time in a while, I can take a moment to truly appreciate it all. When you’re traveling 52 weeks straight, without pause, from one town to another, I’ve had an additional layer of activity these past three years by taking my daughter along with me everywhere.”
Apart from that, I’ve chosen to pen my autobiography lately. The past year or so has been quite tumultuous. Now, I’m slowing down a bit. Taking a moment to pause and appreciate the world around me. As a seasoned gamer, I’ve been fortunate enough to carve out an impressive career in WWE, earning multiple women’s championship titles, with my “The Man” character truly shining these past few years. It’s only a matter of time before I join the ranks of WWE Hall of Famers. In 2023, I added another accolade to my collection by becoming the sixth women’s grand slam champion, winning the NXT Women’s Championship. With new talent flooding into WWE, there’s plenty more for me to conquer on this virtual wrestling stage!
