AEW Adds Stipulation to TNT Title Match at AEW All In

As a long-time fan who’s witnessed the rollercoaster ride that is AEW, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming All In event in London! The prospect of Will Ospreay and MJF clashing once more for the American Championship has me on the edge of my seat. But it’s the looming battle between Jack Perry and Darby Allin that truly sets my heart racing!

Within just about two weeks, AEW will make its way to Wembley Stadium for the second yearly AEW All In event in London. The lineup is brimming with thrilling bouts, such as Will Ospreay’s return for a second time – this time as an AEW employee – to challenge for the “AEW American Championship,” which MJF had snatched from him earlier. Whether Ospreay decides to employ the Tiger Driver 91 or not could be decisive. Another highly anticipated matchup will feature TNT Champion Jack Perry and previous multiple-time TNT Champion Darby Allin, who are both original AEW talent and key pillars of the company.

For the past few months, Allin has found himself at odds with The Elite, which includes Perry. Tensions escalated when The Young Bucks were defeated by Sting and Darby at AEW Revolution. Since then, The Young Bucks have abused their Executive Vice President roles, going on a power trip, defeating anyone in their path, with the assistance of Perry and Kazuchika Okada. So far, Darby, who is part of Team AEW, has tried to put an end to their reign of chaos within AEW, but his efforts have been unsuccessful.

In their upcoming rematch, Perry isn’t aiming for a routine title fight. Instead, he proposes a coffin match against Darby. This may seem unusual, as it typically favors Darby, but Perry wants to best him at his chosen style. The proposal also recalls last year’s event where Perry’s ex-teammate Christian Cage partnered with current AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland against Darby and Sting.

Since Sting retired, Darby has been experiencing an intriguing career progression within AEW. Initially, he was planning to conquer Mount Everest, but an injury prevented him from doing so this year. However, he eventually recovered and found himself embroiled in the drama surrounding The Elite. With AEW setting foot in Washington state in October, a region where many AEW stars like Darby hail from, it’s plausible that he’ll play a significant role there as well. Post-AEW All In, he is set to challenge Strickland for another title at AEW Grand Slam in New York.
